Lest we forget that Bill Clinton's ATF needed a big bust at budget time so they pretended that a quirky religious sect in Waco Texas might be converting old British WW2 rusty junk to fully automatic "zombie gun" weapons. The basis for the search warrant was the fact that some Branch Dividian members might have sent away for (legal) pamphlets about restoring old military junk. About a week ago , the stupidest President in American History announced

"The Justice Department launched the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center (the Center) which will provide training and technical assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations, and behavioral health professionals responsible for implementing laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of people who pose a threat to themselves or others."

And is that any different from "out of the hands of people the courts have repeatedly told JOe to stay away from"
