RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced Tuesday he had vetoed 30 pieces of gun-related legislation, including measures that would have halted the sale of certain semi-automatic firearms.

Youngkin's vetoes, which drew criticism from Democrats, were not surprising. But the governor had been vague enough on the issue that he had left even gun-rights groups with a degree of uncertainty about how he would act on the dozens of bills the Democratic-controlled General Assembly sent him during this year's session.

The Governor vetoed 30 gun-control bills, modified 6 other gun-control bills so that they no longer pose a threat to Virginia’s lawful gun-owners There are no more gun-control bills left.

There is no way the Democrats will be able to override any of the Governor’s vetoes.

Wouldn't that have been yesterday, and not today as the title says?

Yep....Corrected.

Whether he vetoed them yesterday or today is not as important as the fact that he vetoed more of the same Do-Nothing-feel-good idiocy that we're sure to see again the next time the circus is in town.

As a native Virginian, I strongly resent our growing infestation of Carpetbaggers who support the evisceration of our torn and tattered Bill of Rights and pollute the landscape with suburban sprawl.

Thanks,
