Knives Are Out For Chuck Schumer After Democrats Cave On Shutdown

“Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced,” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.),

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), the former chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, cited Schumer’s refusal to endorse incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani as well as his handling of the shutdown fight.

“Don’t endorse or say who you voted for in NYC despite there being a Dem candidate,” Pocan wrote online. “Get Dem Senators to negotiate a terrible ‘deal’ that does nothing real about healthcare. Screw over a national political party.”

“Profile of scourge? Next,” Pocan added.

The Dem party has completely turned on Schumer and the party is in total meltdown. Some of these folks are at least admitting it's cause Schumer hasn't fully embraced their new Democrat Socialist views.

Look at who is turning on him, though.

Communists and others who are on record as hating America if America isn't exactly how they want it.

Fantastic to behold.

It must drive them crazy:

Every time it truly looks like they FINALLY have Trump where they want him - they completely go bust and hit snake eyes.

Every...single....time.

Even their little blue state Tuesday elections are already in the rearview mirror over this recent monumental loss.

And the MAGA winning rolls on.

They are completely out of touch with the American people.

dimocrap FILTH had the opportunity to rid themselves of communist scum back when JFK was POTUS but they wouldn't. They sneaked in under FDR's Admin and he didn't bother with getting rid of them. The USSR was an important War-Time ally. Plus, he wasn't really aware of how evil they were. I think. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt..... A little

And now...... They can't. They're too strong. They have created their own Frankenstein Monster and it will destroy them.

Hopefully, it's painful

Yep, good old politics.

It's fun watching the insane, radical Hamas/Antifa wing of the party go after the old school, KKK/money-laundering grifter wing.

Get more popcorn!

Why is nobody talking about substance? Everyone talks politics, infighting, and popular opinion, but nobody is looking at why extending the ACA subsidies is a MAJOR matter that deserves more attention than Democrats throwing a tantrum, demanding that they be continued without further discussion.

ACA has failed, which is why the subsidies seem necessary, but no one is looking at the fundamental changes that would resolve matters in a more rational way than just bribing taxpayers to be happy with their insurance premiums.

Where are the adults in the room? Is it Rand Paul?

There is really only one substantive argument regarding the ACA.

That is its dismantling.

Fixing it requires work, and its easier to use as a wedge to get more donations. Also, you'll be called a commie on this board or a Nazi on other boards.

HuffPost was no good until they told you what you wanted to hear.

The poor man. First, he caves several months ago to do the right thing and democrats want his head on a silver platter. Learning his lesson from that, he shuts down the government this time to playcate those who wanted his head that last time. Then, when eight moderate democrats decide to end the democrat shutdown this time, democrats blame Schumer for that and want his head on a silver platter again. The guy can't win for losing.

The ACA has been criticized for increasing reliance on government programs, with some arguing it moves towards a more socialized healthcare system.
Issues such as mismanagement and improper Medicaid enrollments have raised concerns about the efficiency of the ACA, with billions lost to eligibility errors.
Then there's the inclusion of illegal aliens that Democrats included in their latest efforts in the passed four years.
While the ACA has made strides in expanding coverage and providing protections, it has faced significant criticism regarding insurance costs and efficiency.

It's definitly not Rand Paul. While his solutions maybe what's needed he's not an outside thinker when it comes to advancing the direction of policy. He's unwilling to acknowledge small steps in the right direction are better than nothing at all.

Rand's been talking a lot of nonsense as of late.

He was even one of the only Republicans to vote NOT to cease his own pay during the shutdown.

He seems to be turning into a Massie-style contrarian.

Must be something in the water in Kentucky.

But, hey, as a Rhode Islander - who am I to point fingers? ;)
