I ask because libs seem to be sure they are paying tariffs so surely they must know how much they are paying. I haven’t seen any lib quantify their claim/position so I figured I’d start a thread so they can.

building stuff in america will wipe out california's import-shipping-rail-trucking-warehouse-port supporting communist china economy worth trillions

trillions of dollars in lost jobs, I had an eye opening day yesterday that I will share later in the week once I take pictures, people have no idea of the magnitude of the loss in money, our loss of money to china, it really is sickening

And we have been told we will be getting $2000 checks. I hope that happens soon. A very smart move by president Trump.

So, City of Industry, CA will be a ghost town?

Not so much, there is industry there. Ontario California, Riverside, there are miles and miles of warehouses. But I was thinking of this, drove by this, I need to take pics from my truck.

This map view is not what I saw, what I saw is mountains of cargo containers from China. Mind boggling, I just about cried at our lost wealth, our lost standard of living. democrats have destroyed us, literally.

Ha, what do you think the City of Industry is?

The City of Industry is a city in the San Gabriel Valley in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is almost entirely industrial, containing over 3,000 businesses employing 67,000 people, with only 264 residents as of the 2020 census, making it the third least populous city in the state. It was incorporated on June 18, 1957, and has become the economic hub for the San Gabriel Valley.

According to a new comprehensive 150 year study based on tariffs in America, Britain and France - the San Francisco Federal Reserve has declared that tariffs are deflationary.

So there's that.

I worked in the, City of Industry. I know what is there. I worked in the City of Industry in 1987. We had essentially zero trade with China then so I state that the industry of the city of industry is not warehouse for Chinese trade.

Take a look at the Port around Long Beach. In 1987 that port was 1% of what it is today.

Look at the warehouses in riverside county, they cover 100 sq miles or more. Much bigger than the City of Industry

I didn't disagree that the City of Industry would not be affected by a loss of trade with China. What I know is industry in the USA will continue and grow hence industry is fine in California

Warehousing, shipping, trucking, railroads, ports, are in trouble.

I guess the workers will have to self-deport. ;)

Watching the people in Virginiana and New Jersey simmer as their taxes rise more and more and their utility bills rise even faster will be fun to watch. Jersey's cities are Perma ghettos. Spartacus ran Newarkas Mayor and it was worse off after he was rewarded of being elected a federal Senator. Atlantic City's gambling rules and laws were written from the then Progressive Socialists that ran the state then. Of course, it was corrupted and the city is still at least half ghetto. Near every Prog mayor has done jail time since the mid 1970's. When I think of that city now it aways has cloud cover in the image.

Energy prices in one state raise the cost of energy on every state. It aint so fun watching my costs skyrocket

I did not cause it. I left it. In life we either win or lose. I propose we stop spending massive resources on each replenishment and I live near the ocean. Progs voted for that a few weeks ago.
