Why wouldn't democrats want March to be "Women's Month"? I mean, after all, if you want a women's month then you aught to be able to define what a woman is.

Democrats are doing just fine. Republicans don't care about women. So asking someone to give them a definition of what a woman is does nothing to change the fact that our country voted against womens rights. Perhap Republicans need to be asked to define what women's rights are.
