Dead wrong. 3/5ths or 60 votes to invoke cloture to vote on the CR, then it is a simple majority. Bipartisanship is required to even vote of the CR. That is why the Dems are stalling. They know they cannot stop passage.

Trump himself and Trump's Party (the MAGA/GOP) refuses to deal with the Democrats unless the government under the shutdown is opened up. Democrats do that and there goes any hope for compromise and non partisan agreement on things important to the American public.

For democracy to function, compromise is an essential ingredient.

We won an election, the demonrats are not to be dealt with, they need to stop grandstanding. They know when the subsidies stop, and people get a good look at what the ACA premiums are going to jump to, they are toast

Considering that no cuts have been made and none will until Nov. 21, it highlights the fact that the democrats are not interested in negotiation or compromise based on their refusal to pass a clean CR and do what they are paid to do. Projection is not your friend.
