Article II Section 2 of the Constitution states that, "[The President] shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur..." Now we have a President with almost FIFTY YEARS in the Federal Government who purports to enter into two (2) odious TREATIES, with full knowledge that neither has been consented to by 2/3 of the Senate, and knowledge that any attempt to obtain that consent would fail.
Where is the outrage?
"The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments... When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside..." NOTE: "Shall" is imperative. It doesn't say, "should," or "might," or "...if he's not too busy doing something more important."
The Democrat-controlled Senate is preparing to "try" the former President, with some Democrat hack from Vermont presiding. Hello, hello? Is anybody home? And why is the Chief Justice not presiding? The actual purported answer is...HE'S BUSY!!! Seriously.
"Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States." It doesn't say, "or disqualification..."
Democrats do not give a shit about the Constitution, except on the rare occasions when it benefits them. And where is the outrage?
