This people are insane.

They cannot help themselves.

Their shutdown is causing long lines at airports around the country, so Trump is sending ICE to help TSA to process people thru security.
Democrats started screaming bloody murder about it....actually making claims that ICE is going to start killing people. Several Democrats have repeated this false claim to cause fear and panic.

This rhetoric is reckless and must stop.

We collected $4.5 billion dollars last year to pay for the TSA. Why is that not used to fund the TSA?

With every ticket purchased, the TSA is funded.

TSA costs 11 billion a year to run.

Democrats will not vote on the budget to authorize payment of the salaries. The money is there.

They have voted many times to do that. It's the rest they won't support. But you know this.

The U.S. needs to revisit the EXISTENCE of TSA. It was created in the wake of 9/11, but there is no indication other than self-serving speculation that they have saved a single soul with the hundreds of billions of dollars that have funded them. They are like Operation Head Start, which does no good but employs a lot of otherwise unemployable people.

"Plan B" when TSA was created was simply tell the airlines that THEY are responsible for safety from terrorism on board, and let them figure it out. They might not have done any better at it, and it might cost just as much, but it would be private sector measures, which would be preferable.

Not that I imagine any U.S. agency would ever be shuttered, just because it is worthless and wasteful.

They want criminal illegal aliens to stay here and will not vote on a homeland security budget, which includes TSA until they get deportation protection. If you did not know this, educate yourself.

On December 22, 2001, Richard Reid, a British citizen trained by al-Qaeda, attempted to detonate plastic explosives hidden in his shoes on American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. Passengers and crew subdued him after he failed to ignite the bomb, leading to a diverted flight and his life sentence. The incident resulted in mandatory, universal shoe removal at TSA security checkpoints.

Not 911.

Which have now been rescinded. Are we saying Trump has put us all at risk?
