I've been thinking lately that the government shut down may wind up being democrat's last stand. They are determined to stand up to Trump in order to turn the party's fortunes around. Democrats currently only have a 34% approval rating, which is actually 10 points lower than Trump's. The shutdown has gone on for over two weeks now and most polls show that Americans blame both parties fairly equally. If democrats cave to Trump or lose the shutdown fight then the democrats best shot at redemption has gone down the crapper for good. In other words, it will be their last stand, ala General Custer. With the polls on the subject being close to 50/50 it gives Republicans the courage to not cave so the best democrats can do is a stalemate, which is not a win and they can go merrily on with their 34% approval rating and, if they finally wind up caving, then they join the likes of Custer in American history.

As I've been saying all along...... This weekend will be the Nuremberg Rally for dimocrap scum.

They're changing everything about themselves if it pans out. They're going to see if they can give up the phony facade of giving a shit about The People of America and going full Fascist, er, er socialist (same-same) on us.

If they see this Hitler-esque rally as a success, that will be their direction. Without a doubt. If it fails, they will continue the charade, they will continue to pretend they give a shit.

Mark my words. That's what this weekend is about. The chagning of the dimocrap FILTH party.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch --

Marco Rubio's State Department Begins Cancelling the Visas of Violent Foreigners Who Cheered the Assassination of Charlie Kirk

GTFO.

The State Department announced Tuesday that six foreign nationals have had their U.S. visas revoked after making vile social media posts mocking the assassination of Turning Point USA cofounder Charlie Kirk. Officials said the individuals -- from Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, and Paraguay -- made "deeply offensive" remarks celebrating Kirk's death and warned that further action may be taken.

Democrats know they bear responsibility for the shutdown. Their attempts to redirect attention to every conceivable distraction from the shutdown is proof. The threads on this board--just this morning are great evidence. MTG, Lawfare, Retribution, Vengeance, anything but the shut down or Trump's middle east accomplishments. The democrats are grasping.

Which political party is in power at the moment?

While Republicans are playing chess, Democrats are playing checkers blindfolded and calling it strategy.

Hmmm. I don't think so. If the SC isn't able to sufficiently rig the midterms for the POT then the last two years of the regime are going to feature members of the government going to the Hill to explain themselves.

Or, explain to Americans why they are defying congressional subpoenas.

SC? POT?

It is going to be massively ugly. Today poll numbers came out, in every single swing state, like North Carolina, that Trump won in the last election, well he is upside down in approval ratings at the moment. And many of those states have open Senate seats.

link?

Let's see how honest you are OP...

What's the Republican Party's current approval rating ?

Is that some stupid way of saying Republicans control the senate? They don’t have 60 votes. If they did the shutdown wouldn’t be happening. It is senate democrats who shut the government down.

Trump was upside down in approval numbers last November and he won. Did you forget that?
