Trump, having divided and separated the Republican Party, is somehow to magically unify the country to the extent he can get a majority in November.

I don't think we're as "divided" as you think. I believe you see some of Trump's little bulldogs being senseless and needing a good whack across the snout with a newspaper. Trump isn't stupid, he knows he has to bring the Cruz supporters on board and I think he will. Not 100%... that's unrealistic, but a good percentage of them and that's good enough. There have been 30 national polls conducted since the primaries began. In 29 of 30, Trump loses to Hillary by more than the margin of error. I don't generally put a lot of stock in polls but I can't suspend disbelief and think 29 of 30 polls are wrong. The Democrats, rest assured, will show up and march in lockstep behind Hillary. They represent around 65 million votes. But... Trump and his 14 million supporters are going to win in a landslide! They need help from no one!

Conservatives are not going away. Even if, by some miracle, Trump manages to beat Hillary with half his electoral hands tied behind his back.... Conservatives are still going to be there. So you can be as cocky, bold and brash as you want... it's not going to change Conservatives. They are going to hold whoever the next president is to account and their political voices will be heard. So you can certainly dismiss us for the moment, I don't think you can win the election without our support, but even IF you do... we're still here. And we're not going anywhere.
