Democrats have called together a rare emergency session of the Senate Intelligence Committee to discuss the growing threats toward America.

No, not MS-13, TdA, or even Iran, but the growing threat of Donald Trump.

I know this is satire but the Establishment has tried to set Trump up. They and their donors want a Neo-Con back in power and Trump was the guy standing in their way.

It's not that this bombing shouldn't have occurred as clearly the Iranians weren't interested in negotiating anymore and they cannot have a nuke, but it's the way it came to be in such short order. It has allowed the Dems to paint Trump as a War Mongerer and it will bring some voters back into the fold (is their expectation).

Trump should have held a conference before the attacks and mention the "within two weeks" rather than just in passing while answering questions. His best approach now should be to have the details of the report by the International Nuclear group along with information about how far the Iranians were in their efforts to build a nuke.

Again, this should have taken place before the attack but he can still recover. Make the world know they will not be going to war with Iran. Israel can do the heavy lifting with U.S support if Iran continues to be a problem not unlike the Ukranians fighting the Russians.

He did. He just announced in questioning on Friday that he would make a decision within two weeks. He made it clear that his decision could come anytime within the next two week period, from an hour to a fortnight.

He should have officially have announced it to America in a press conference, as he did AFTER the attack.

It's what GWB did. Trump operates on the fly and off the cuff, which is fine for most issues, but war and use of the military is that sensitive spot for Americans. That said, Obama was drone killing countless people in the M.E with no concerns but that's a side issue.

If I were him, I would have presented a three minute speech "we have tried to work with Iran, they cannot get a nuke and they are at X% of nuclear fusion levels. If they do not operate we will have to destroy these locations. I urge Iran to not obfuscate any further so we can avoid this".

I would have done the same for China and make America aware directly what the U.S is dealing with.
