A lie.
No cops were killed.
"Biden falsely claims criminals storm US Capitol, ‘kill a police officer,’ ‘fact-checkers’ strangely absent
The latest example of Big Tech’s “fact-check” justified censorship being applied in one direction only, to the right, was seen during President Joe Biden’s press briefing after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva, Switzerland.
The president of the United States declared before the world that “criminals” broke into the U.S. Capitol on January 6 and managed to “kill a police officer.”
The assertion is untrue. A blatant lie. Yet, where was the outcry from the media and Big Tech that regularly followed any statement made by former President Donald Trump that bordered on questionable?
U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was the officer
Biden falsely claimed was killed by protesters that fateful day. This being a common distortion widely reported by the media in the aftermath of the Capitol being stormed, with even The New York Times getting in on the deception.
The Times cited two unnamed law enforcement officials to report on January 8 that Sicknick died after being bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher.
The Times story was included in the House Democrats’ trumped up case to impeach former President Donald Trump for allegedly inciting an insurrection.
“The insurrectionists killed a Capitol Police officer by striking him in the head with a fire extinguisher,” the
Democrats’ impeachment proceedings memo read.
However, Officer Sicknick died from natural causes.
That’s according to Washington Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz, who said Sicknick suffered two strokes the day after the storming of the Capitol, and that the manner of death was “natural,” according to
NBC News."
