Except these establishments weren't on Law Enforcement's radar as houses of prostitution, and the women working there were all 50 years old or older. (Or at least the ones who were killed were.) One of the women killed was a single mom with two sons. Her sons had no idea she was working at a Massage parlor.

Here's a crazy idea.. Instead of playing "Morality Police", why not legalize prostitution and then treat them like legitimate businesses where the labor laws apply just like everywhere else.

Actually, out where I live, you have a number of massage parlors..> The Police maybe bust one of them once a year. then they are back up in operation the next day. Worse case, they shut down and relocate somewhere else.

The absurdity of prostitution laws is that the police don't really care to enforce them. Mostly because the cost to catch them in the act isn't worth the small fines they'll end up paying. It's much more lucrative to hassle some poor fool who was going 10 miles over the speed limit.

Ironically, the thing that did close all of them down last year was Covid.
