Democratic Youth Prefer ACA to ObamaCare. They don't know they are the same thing.

I guess the efforts of the Obama administration and the media to rebrand the law is working. Young Democrats polled don't know that the ACA and Obamacare are the same damn thing. People this stupid are probably future liberal politicians.

People this stupid? You mean like Republicans?

Republicans Like The Affordable Care Act More Than Obamacare
It still didnt poll over 22% approval no matter what it was called.
Utter fail at attempted equivalence gesture.

they must of found every dummy who votes Democrat for this poll

To be fair to them, I didn't follow politics as a youngster...But this is what got Obama, a man of nothing but lies, no experience in anything to get elected

We need to start educating the young who vote in politics instead of just American idol and teach them their votes have real life consequences on the people of the country

We are spending $8000 per year per person on healthcare, and you thought the ACA would be cheap? This just goes to prove that everyone bitching about the costs just has no clue at all about the true cost of healthcare. All I ever hear from those on the right is how they will now have to pay $300 per month and how that is way too much. It's laughable. I have only heard a few legitimate cases on here of people getting screwed by the ACA. BTW, there are some cases where people are actually going to pay more, but for most that is not the case.

YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT LIAR!!! Screw you ass hole.

Ha.Ha. that doesn't surprise me in the least. I watched a short interview with Harvard students that admitted they knew nothing about Obamacare--so they probably think that the ACA is something different---:cuckoo:

Not onle a few according to Obama.

"I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year."

Now the rate shock is slowing seeping in.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Tuesday joined the ranks of worried Democrats demanding that President Obama allow people to keep their current insurance policies. Feinstein’s move is bad news for an administration desperate for good news following the roll-out debacle of the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance exchange on Oct. 1, which has been plagued by technical problems.

“Since the beginning of September, I have received 30,842 calls, emails and letters from Californians, many of whom are very distressed by cancellations of their insurance policies and who are facing increased out-of-pocket costs.

“For example, a father from Rancho Mirage called and said: ‘I work three jobs to pay the bills for my wife and daughter. I got a letter that my plan is going from $420 to $943. I went to HealthCare.Gov, then Covered California. I researched my premiums. A policy almost identical to my old one is being offered for $863. I’m now being forced to come up with over $400 a month with 30 days’ notice. Let me spell it out: I do not have the income to afford this.’

No one needs health care insurance

WE all need health care occassionally.

So what IS this insurance, exactly?

Needless expense added to the overall cost of health care in America.

That is WHY most of the TRUE LEFT is so pissed off about ACA.

It's a freaking WASTE of MONEY.

Anything that's not Single Payer is a freaking waste of money...but that isn't a political possibility at the moment. This "lefty" is getting mighty tired of defending the Republican's Healthcare Plan.

This post from S'witch is a socialist point of view.
Single payer is letting our "trusted government" set the premiums and the coverage.

Yeah, that's the ticket. :cuckoo:

we did not.

we( American people) were LIED to it will. we ( people who have been against this crap) never believed the lies, but YOU ( the ones who voted for this crap - twice) - did.

we knew all along it is going to be a rip-off of the middle class for the benefit of the insurance industry.

now you also know it.

But you still support this crap.

They can't roll out a fucking website without reverting to 19th century technology. Why would anyone imagine they can manage people's healthcare?

The good news is, no one will buy this unless they are total fools. Anyone that buys into this scam deserves to get fleeced. The rest of us "youth", particularly us young men will just pay the fine or remain on our parents health insurance, or if we can't get jobs go onto medicaid. All are cheaper than buying insurance we don't need.

Enjoy the decline folks.

I can only laugh at the idiocy involved with those who believe they don't need health insurance. It's like saying you don't need home owners insurance or you don't need auto insurance if you drive. While it's true you may never really need to use it, the point of health insurance is to pay for your medical bills if you become really sick and the bills become more than you can handle. Of course, a lot of people think it's just fine if someone else pays those bills for them. The most surprising thing is this very strange attitude seems to come from conservatives more than any other group. Color me shocked.

I don't plan on "owning" a home(which basically means being in debt to a bank and the government that backs it) either.

It is nothing like owning a house. Relatively, all houses share a similar amount of risks(excluding those on fault lines, coast line, high fire risk areas). However, not all people share the same health risks.

In the old days, before price discrimination was outlawed, this risk was calculated into lower prices. This is why young men paid less than young women, and older paid more than the young. Since this is now outlawed, the groups getting shafted are the young, particularly young men.

In the old days, to account for something like a car accident, young people could get a catastrophic plan with a low premium. Those are now outlawed because they are not "comprehensive" enough.

Now it would be cheaper to pay out of pocket or stay on my parents plan to cover the accident.

The only reason you can stay on your parents insurance is because of the ACA. No one needs insurance...until they need it, until they get injured or sick. Or do you really believe you are "invincible"?

Good thing I can, or I would be forced into this inflated healthcare(it is no longer health insurance) market. Before ACA, I could buy a catastrophic plan. So while in the short term it is good until I am 26, afterwards I am screwed.

As is the TRUE right. Healthcare was far less expensive prior to medicare/medicaid(under LBJ) in the 60s and the creation of HMOS(by the Federal Government under Nixon) in the 70s.

Which healthcare systems have the most satisfied customers? I'll give you a hint...they are both "government run".

It's a bet. It's gambling.

You're betting you will need the insurance and all it's benefits, the insurance company is betting you won't...

The Democrats are desperately trying to get Obama's name off this piece of crap law they passed and is pushing it now as, ACA

can't say I blame them but I hope the people remember who put this on their backs come elections

Nah.. the insurance company is like the house taking a cut of the stakes for a poker match. The house wins either way. Thus health insurance is more like poker. In health insurance the guy who looses the match of life by needing money for health care expenses is the winner of the poker match in so far as he gets to pull from the pot.

Yeah well calling it the democrat affordable care act is gonna bite them in the butt as well. It points to the lies they have told. Calling Obama Care "affordable" is a bad joke. Just like calling the Patriot Act patriotic was a joke.
