Democrat pundits on USMB: Answer this conundrum you’re in for me please

You mean like Trump did in the closing days of his administration pardoning Flynn, Stone, Bannon, his Jared’s father, and others who helped him with January 6th?????

Not to mention the ones he will be pardoning after this term. Which, considering it is an entire administration of criminals, including the head criminal himself. It will be more like a parole board hearing, than Presidential pardons.

Joe Biden and the Democrats will prove to be the most dishonest in the history of the United States. Just wait, step away from your cult

Highly unlikely given you STILL don't have a shred of evidence against them. Not that this small detail has ever stopped Republicans from holding sham investigations before - Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi.

Are you finished lying about Joe Biden's mental capabilities?

Given that the only Democrats prosecuted while Biden was in office was the New Jersey Senator charged with bribery - Menendez, and a House Rep from Texas, you're going to have a lot of problems with this ridiculous claim.

There is no way your prediction can come true. Trump has that record, and the only way it can possibly be broken will be by the incoming administration. The corruption is off to a great start with Trump already setting the table for open corruption and pay for play with his tariffs threat.

From the World Bank:

"By explicitly accounting for the interaction between importers and corrupt customs officials, the paper argues that setting trade tariff rates at a uniform level limits the ability of public officials to extract bribes from importers, and can therefore deliver higher government revenues and welfare than the optimally-set (Ramsey) tariff benchmark when corruption is pervasive. "

Trump is already telling importers that they can "apply for exemptions". In other words, pay Trump a big enough bribe, and your imports won't face tariffs.

I am not too concerned about Trump's tariffs. They will play out to make America stronger, that is what is important. As far as your statement about the Biden Administration goes we have a strong Congressional investigation complete to get us started Prosecuting Democrats for their dishonesty and misdeeds.

I wasn't even born then. but at least there was a crime he was pardoned for. I don't back massive pardons, but there's a lot of uncertainty around Watergate that surface-level Democrats don't like to talk about, I'm not sure how their proclamations would hold up. given all the evidence and information.

I'm against all preemptive pardons, no matter which party. So your example means nothing.

The issue here is that people are suggesting to being pardoned who have committed no crime. If they've committed no crime, why pardon them? Can you answer that?

It's the "A Few Good Men" Logic. I'll paraphrase:

"If you ordered that private Santiago (who was killed via Code Red) wasn't to be touched, and your orders are always followed (or people die), then why did you order the transfer off the base? Why would his life be in danger?

Likewise:

"If Democrats committed no crimes, and the DOJ is always honorable and never performs political agendas... why would you order a preemptive pardon? Why would it be necessary?"
Nixon was pardoned because the "prosecution" had a shitload of their own turds that they needed to bury.

Interesting...... :eusa_think:

"Democrat pundit" is an oxymoron. The only thing they are expert at is repeating propaganda points.
well, i'm a centrist-traditionalist. almost a Republican-centrist in nature, especially on NATO+EU+Allies foreign policy issues, although at the same time i've advocated for a full scale orderly retreat from Lithuania, Eastern Ukraine, Crimea, and Taiwan.
i was planning to firmly stand our ground on all other foreign policy issues.

but this is merely advice of course, that i'm willing to clarify in other posts.

and yet i find most traditionalists also to be nearly to fully unable to think objectively and from both, or rather : all, viewpoints at all times.
and that, i think, is key to winning wars of attrition.

coveractionmagazine is your source.

phfft.
Yes, that source is better documented and resourced than the NYT, WaPo, or the WS journal. I only wish the establishment press were so transparent in the narratives they spin.
