That isn't very likely. Why should I even believe you. It isn't good compant practice. They usually only comply as much as they can without hurting the bottom line. You must be talking about the exception to the rule of it really existed at all.I've seen it in operating. I've been part of a hiring process when upper management decided it needed to be more "diverse".
And the whites were immediately dismissed from consideration despite being more qualified.

All white , it definitely needed change then. Long overdue.New director came in, among other things noticed management was all white despite diverse work force. Next opening for lower management, wanted to hire blacks.,
so they did.
That's how diversity works. There was a better white guy and a better white woman, and they dismissed them both and hired a black woman.
All white , it definitely needed change then. Long overdue.
No , I still don't believe you ; but if it was that bad , change was long overdue.Ah, so you are denying it happened, but justifying it at the same time?
Incredible.
THe point is, that the process was nothing but anti-white (male) discrimination.
No , I still don't believe you ; but if it was that bad , change was long overdue.
Here in Nebraska we had a basically all white police force in Omaha ( 12 % black population ). The first high ranking police officer wasn't until 2003. Now the police force is almost up to par. It's about 10% finally and works much better for everyone. Still not represented well in the higher ranks , that will retake even more time unless things regress again with this over-reaction in society.Well, I'm not going to try to dig up proof. It would be quite difficult at this time. SO, whatever.
Everyone else knows that what I describe is completely normal for dei or "diverstity",
An essay by Tyler O'Neil in "The Daily Signal" Sunday hit the nail on the head. Those who say Trump was out of line blaming DEI for the DC plane/helicopter crash, maybe it wasn't that, but he is dang sure credible in believing it was a factor. It is DEI policies that are the No. 1 reason the airport control towers all over the country are so understaffed.
This thread is not intended to focus only on the DC tragedy, but the whole concept of how politicians and media and organizations like the SPLC use DIE in ways that decreased quality and excellence and make America less great.
Quote from the essay (emphasis mine):
"If the legacy media wanted to prove that the movement for diversity, equity, and inclusion is a smokescreen for the Left’s woke priorities, it couldn’t do much better than USA Today’s response to President Donald Trump’s statement about Wednesday night’s horrific aircraft collision over Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Trump blamed DEI for the crash, suggesting that misplaced priorities in the previous administration had contributed to an environment where officials cut corners on safety in order to achieve left-wing goals.
USA Today reported that “civil rights leaders” slammed Trump for the remarks, but the paper led its coverage with one of the least credible organizations in America today.
That was a mistake of epic proportions. . .
. . .Southern Poverty Law Center
The Southern Poverty Law Center is the last organization that should lecture Trump about the virtues of diversity and inclusion.
As I wrote in my book, “Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center,” the SPLC smears mainstream conservative and Christian organizations by placing them on a “hate map” alongside chapters of the Ku Klux Klan. A former employee described that as a “highly profitable scam” to scare donors into ponying up cash. . ."
O'Neil concludes with:
". . .DEI may present itself as noble, but like the SPLC, it’s an attempt to stifle dissent and force radical change. DEI involves promoting people based on certain characteristics, rather than based on merit, and as such, it hinders important institutions like the FAA from hiring and promoting the most competent people for the job.
By giving voice to a morally bankrupt organization that uses DEI as a cudgel against its opponents, USA Today unwittingly helped reveal that Trump’s criticism of DEI is accurate, and that DEI is itself a smokescreen to pursue the woke agenda."
Your racism and backward thinking is destroying everything you nation has achieved.
Diversity, equity and inclusion is what made American great in the first place.
Great for EVERYONE otherwise we'd still be a nation with white police forces , white fire departments , white governments , etc.Your racism and backward thinking is destroying everything you nation has achieved.
Diversity, equity and inclusion is what made American great in the first place.
Not when done correctly.DEI is racist discrimination. Being against dei is being against racism.
The FAA has been understaffed since they went on strike when Reagan was president. An essay by Tyler O'Neil in "The Daily Signal" Sunday hit the nail on the head. Yeah, selective agents of frenemies. Not when done correctly.
You left out the criminal elements they practised.Never were those promoting diversity, equity or inclusion to the exclusion of qualifications, instinct, aptitude, ability, experience, knowhow anything more than short sighted, woke, partisan anti-American, mean spirited, destructive idiots for want of a better word to describe them.
Yes and no , DEI practices should have been monitored more carefully to prevent the rare occurrences of abuse. They were meant to create an equal playing field , I have to admit , in some cases , they went overboard. But then again it speeded up the equalization process , so it wasn't all bad in these cases either. It served it's purpose , it got people thinking it's ok to hire people out of their own little group. Diversity is good.Stann has Correll in a choke hold.
