You can well and truly wedge yourself in that group too. The US entered the war because Japan bombed it's ass. The UK was in the war every single day, 2,193 of them and lost 383,600 military personnel, that's 174.92 per day. Then you glorious cretins who partaked for 1,303 days and lost 416,800 military personnel, that's 319.877 per day, claim you won it. The colonies couldn't even win independence, the French, Dutch, and Spanish had to help. Another thing you're shit at is history.

And if you are of german ancestry for example and you were in Germany do you bond with locals by introducing yourself as of German ancestry or insert x ancestry in x country?

I went to Ireland on a pilgrimage. There were 34 us. We attended Mass at the Cathedral in Galway. It was a sparsely-attended Saturday evening Mass.
