Doge is not HR. HR doesn't do performance reviews.
If HR requested it I would send the email to my boss.
Just because you get pissy and want to buck the system, doesn't mean you have a point.

This is the whole reason for this exercise.

They want the problem to identify itself.

Everyone has to follow the rules when you work for any boss, be it the pubic or private sector.

Refusal to follow rules coming from the current administration is only going to get you fired.

You can either do what you're told or you can hit the road.

I worked for the federal government for 33 years and had to provide a weekly activity report as well as an annual accomplishment report.

The reason employees objected was because it came from an outside agency that has no concept of their mission, job description or current tasks.

Also the threat of firing if you object

They're not even going to read the e-mails. Any idea how long it would take to read a million e-mails--each with 5 bullet points? Nobody is going to do that.
