I'm really burned out on superhero movies, but this trailer looks good. I prefer DC to Marvel.

Damn, where did they get that froppy lookin' Lois Lane from?

Rachel Brosnahan

Come on man, Superman can pull better tail than that.

Is anyone else getting tired of them doing a couple movies, and then restarting it?
How can they pick another superman after henry cavill?
DC just sucks.

I agree. Spiderman must be the worse. I stopped watching them and keeping track of them.

And where did the dog come from?

My guess would be the planet Krypton.
The story line is not so concrete that there's not a little room for some plot support....but a new character?

People didn't like Henry Cavil when he first appeared in "Man of Steel ". I thought it was just fine before the B/W Zach Schneider version came out with all the missing scenes that fixed the plot holes. Then it was awesome.

But this one? I'm having doubts.

Cavil was great as SM and the Witcher. Too bad they butchered the Witcher.

Yeah....the Witcher was great to start with but then went totally off the rails and stupid. Too simple with a bunch of DEI garbage.

I like the difficult/complicated movies and shows where you must pay attention or you are lost. SM had some of that with all the technology they were using. Then the Flash helped with some of that trying to save SM's cousin. (Supergirl) but she died anyway.

Too much of this time travel/alternate universe just gets confusing with the story arcs.....just let them die already if you kill them off in the story arc.

I get it that Hollywood is out of good ideas and good directors. J.J. Abrams can't be in as many places as he appears to be. But that's no excuse in truth. The fundamentals of great storytelling have not changed in thousands of years. I don't see them changing in the future either. Why they want to deviate from them is beyond my understanding.

Good movies do not have to be expensive. (Blair Witch Project) They just need a decent director and good story arc. I really don't understand why Hollywood keeps trying to create a different agenda separate from that.

I have heard that Hollywood likes to dumb down plots for foreign audiences. I think they put DEI and special effects over quality writing.

Behind Reeves, (and even that's a stretch) Henry Cavill was the best Superman by a mile.
