Daylight savings time ends tonight. Remember to set your clocks one hour back.

I thought they were going to do away with this crap.
The Senate passed making daylight savings permanent, but the house went nowhere on it. The Senate tried again last month but Tom Cotton blocked it because it creates too much darkness in the morning to be on Daylight savings all year round.

Move to Arizona or Hawaii. They never adopted Daylight savings time.

My dad solved the whole problem after he retired....He just never changed the clocks nor his watch. ;)
When I retired, I quit changing the battery in the clock above my desk in the den. It stopped at 3:47 years ago. Others say they don't understand that, but I do. I have other clocks, but that one is retired.

Lol.
You can set your clocks twice a year ago based on all the crying.

Perfectly fine keeping a system that has been in existence my entire life, and as an outdoor worker the change twice a year is beneficial for work hours and avoiding peak rush hour.

But cry away you sleepy fuckers.

Assuming you work a day shift job, I'd rather drive into work in the dark and have an extra hour of daylight after work.
It's dark when I drive to work. It's dark when I drive home.

I agree with the sentiment.

Pick one and stick to it.

How many things did he end up missing out on eventually?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. When it's time to spring forward, springing forward has to be done, or you end up being an hour late to everything you plan to take part in.

That is a congressional issue, you idiot.
Nearly everything is a congressional issue.

But here is what the blob said:

"The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate daylight saving time," Trump on Truth Social in December. "Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation."

USA Today...3/7/2025.

Wholesale failure on both him and his party

"Create darkness" what a concept. The century of the faked time shifting might have an intended obscure reason to help the agra business but it out lived it's intent.
