Cool! post it and I'll do a version and post it.Yes, it was around then. I loved it! I still do! It's an incredible song! I play it on the piano and ukulele. It's funny on the uke!
Then there's this one:
ukulele version good? I'd love to do that!..Cool! post it and I'll do a version and post it.
Sure. I don't play it but I think I can come up with something.ukulele version good? I'd love to do that!..
I can play it, but I can't sing it!
If I remember right that came out in '79 and was the first big "rap" hit.
Interesting I didn't realize that. I'm pretty sure that Rapper's Delight was the beginning of the Rap Genre tho and not Rapture. It charted but Blondie's rapture was the first song with rap lyrics to reach the #1 spot.
Rapper's Delight was the first rap song to get airplay. Blondie just beat them to the top of the charts a year later with Rapture.Interesting I didn't realize that. I'm pretty sure that Rapper's Delight was the beginning of the Rap Genre tho and not Rapture.
ok, I'll but up a uke version, seriously, my roommate that passed away last year would sing it with me! I'd love to do it again! I'll post up the uke version, just chords!Sure. I don't play it but I think I can come up with something.
I would consider the devil came down to georgia as a rap song, personally...Rapper's Delight was the first rap song to get airplay. Blondie just beat them to the top of the charts a year later with Rapture.
