DANCING--Am I the only fan?

I love Dancing with the Stars. It is one of those shows I can just sit back and enjoy the color, the costuming, the great music, and an entertaining format that I just lose myself in for awhile. I never care who wins. It never really feels like a competition though I enjoy the feedback the dancers get.

So am I the only one?

Monday night was the opening show, but everybody gets one more dance before somebody is voted off. I didn't think I was going to enjoy the cast as much this year as last year, but I did.

Yay! Another fan. I like them too. But I try not to get too emotionally attached early on but just enjoy the great music and imagery. I guess my early favorites, if I had to name some, are Leah and "Mercedes"

I used to watch regularly. I've fallen away for various reasons. Last night we had bad reception on ABC. For Once Upon a Time I would have sat through it anyway even with the bad reception. But not for DWTS anymore.

My favorite dancer was Anna Trebunskaya whom they dumped unceremoniously before last season. They made it sound like she might be back this season, so when she wasn't I was double bummed.

Okay bumping this one more week hoping to find at least one other DWTS fan.

Foxy, I am no fan of the show. I watched it the first two seasons, but I don't have the patience to wait until one dance team finishes and the next one begins. Too much else going on in-between that bores me. I have really never been much of a fan of choreographed dancing, with the exception of the tango, in the first place.

I am very happy it brings you joy. What a good thing.

Well I sort of saw the original dancing with the stars, but not lately

My love is what I used to see well not really see but what I dreamed would happen at this big place called LaSalle Park.

It was this big dance floor in the middle of nowhere that I used to bike into as as a child. Used to be a biggie.

You'd come up to it. It was on the edge of Hamilton Bay. It had the dance floor and seats all around.

I'd ride my bike up to it and park. I'd glide up to the dance floor and then I would begin to dance. I would dance this giant floor over and over. I would waltz. I would polka. I would dream. I was a princess.

Oh my the dance floor was so big. You could dream big band. I waltzed by myself. It was so amazing. I hope it's still there.

It meant so much to me.

Bill Engvall knows he's not making it on his talent. How must he feel watching people who are so much better than he is go out before him?
