I imagine Trump trusts his two choices to expose the details of the assassination attempt against him. I have to believe that this is an important consideration for him considering how important it is to protect those running for president and if not by the grace of G-d he had cheated death by millimetres.

We all too soon forget how different America and the world today would have looked if Trump had been killed. It's really mind bending to consider just how close it came. In a rally in front of thousands and would have been forever recorded in history with a camera right on him.

Who would have been the president today if that bullet had succeeded? Nikki Haley? Would Biden had been replaced by an open Primary if Trump was not there? Surely the Dems wouldn't let Haley take on Harris directly as it would be a minority female competition that Haley would have won easily I believe.

There really hasn't been much discussion about that attempt and Trump has to have confidence that he will have people who will be candid and show a fidelity to the U.S Constitution.

I haven't listened to Dan for awhile but when he is cerebral with his analysis he does a pretty good job of breaking down issues.
