Here's an interesting article on saturdays game.
Rams expand Coliseum capacity for Dallas, Seattle games
The Rams sold slightly more than 70,000 season tickets, then made 10,000 more single-game tickets available for their nine home dates (two exhibition and seven regular-season games). So that 80,000-plus constitutes a sellout.
so much for the myth the media has spread over the years probably started by the bitch that LA is not a football town. its not a football town when it comes to being a home team for the raiders or chargers as history has proved but that couldnt be anything further from the truth when it comes to the Rams obviously.
Here are some comments from my Ram fans in LA,they hit the nail on the head.
Funny, LA wasn't supposed to care about football... Yet we're about to have 91,000 people at a pre-season game (me included!). Pre-season! Can't wait until Saturday. The stadium better be loud!
St. Louis never showed this type of love for our rams the whole 21 years they was there but yet people from St. Louis want to say bitter shit. Fuck St. Louis our rams are back home where they should have been all alone
I am happy that the Rams are doing the wise thing. They are not going to throw Goff in there immediately and have him be the starter this season. Very few quarterbacks can come in and handle being the starting quarterback their first season in the NFL. that would be putting too much pressure on him especially in LA.
Thats why I am really excited about this game cause we WILL at least get the chance to see him play.He will be the back up to Kennum.
