Dak Prescott suffered a possible career ending injury.

You bumped a thread with a different topic than your new topic. The thread you bumped was about a Dak injury. When I looked at it I thought Dak got injured. Why start a new Dak thread? Because your new content has nothing to do with the old topic you bumped. Should I just bump some random thread on Trump and insert information that has nothing to do with the OP?
Dak's story is fluid. The injury led to him coming back all to suck and now he's a top paid QB who will never do any better than Tony Romo.

Then I see him calling plays on the sidelines. I can see him one day being an offensive coordinator and maybe even a head coach. He looked good on the sidelines. Just like Tony Romo looks good behind a desk.

The Cowboys are truly Americas team. Even if you hate them, you watch. That's all Jerry Jones and the NFL care about. Are you watching?

I love this sport. So happy football starts next Thursday. Are you a Cowboy fan? Then go **** yourself. With all due respect. No offense but.... LOL.

I love this game!

I appreciate the passion. Just don’t unnecessarily bump threads. It’s annoying.

Just for clarification, there is in fact a rule about not bumping threads that are over 4 months old in Zone 1, and even though this is not Zone 1, bumping a thread from 2020 obviously caused some confusion about this particular topic.

Therefore, starting a new thread about Daks performance since coming back from his injury would have helped the topic get off to a better start.

Just a friendly suggestion to keep the Sports forum fun.

That aside, speaking only for me, I'm glad to see football season returning, so I can declare myself exempt from "honey do" assignments on Sundays.

I figured out last year that I should dvr every football game. That way I don't miss any games. I fast forward until I see a score, then I rewind to see how they scored. I also hit the ff button between plays. It works out perfectly. I miss the replay and the huddle. And if the game is not close I ff x 4 to the end and delete it.

We are completely off the rails now

Perhaps Dak has suffered a career ending injury. Look at what he did to Romo.

Dak Prescott has no room to get sensitive over the Trey Lance acquisition

Given how his Cowboys career started, Dak Prescott can hardly blame the team for adding QB talent.

If you’re reading this article then you know the story; Prescott went from third to second on the depth chart after QB Kellen Moore was injured during training camp. Despite negative reports about his camp performance, which had him in a dogfight with former QB-turned-safety Jameill Showers, Prescott proved he was a gamer with lights-out play in the preseason.

Then Tony Romo’s injury in Seattle happened. Prescott became the starting quarterback and, after losing the season opener, helped lead an eight-game win streak.

While Dak Prescott may have earned the right to remain the Cowboys' starter, Romo certainly had earned the right to keep that job once he got healthy.

Dak Prescott should understand the business side of this as well as anyone. It was business that kept him as QB1 midway through the 2016 season and led to Tony Romo’s end in Dallas. How untimely that end was is up for debate, but it certainly wasn’t a time that Jerry Jones allowed sentiment to rule his thinking.

Seven years later, Trey Lance has arrived because the Cowboys are still in the same business of winning football games. Whether he eventually contributes to that goal remains to be seen, but it’s an investment that nobody, including Dak Prescott, should take personally.

Yeah no one actually cares about Dak. He is, has been and always will be an average to below average QB in the NFL. If he didnt play in Dallas no one would know who he was.

They really hoped they found their new savior after Romo got hurt. I believe Dak came close but we see the last season or two, he choked in the big games. And I personally don't have any confidence this year will be any different. And I get the feeling Jerry Jones feels the same way.

I knew Dak shouldn't have got that big contract. I'm glad he did though and I'm glad he didn't work out for the Cowboys. Because **** the cowboys. LOL

Why not just watch The RedZone? They do live coverage of every games scoring highlights and touchdowns.

The RedZone is all I can tolerate of NFL games. Until WC playoffs it is almost impossible to stick on one game and try to watch it. RedZone is addictive. 4 in the box! I only stay on WC games because I probably bet on them, I am invested.

Huddles, penalties, commercials, sideline BS, halftime, 2min warning, end of quarter.....all deadtime, very little action. Kickoffs out of endzone. Run-Run-Pass-Punt. Hard to watch. Al Michaels, Joe Buck? And players kneel because they hate America? What would any NFL player be doing without it? Few took adequate advantage of the scholarship they burned up. UGH!

Can you get RedZone by itself, as a stand alone subscription? I don't want a package deal, just RedZone. Does anyone have RZ just by itself and not part of a pkg?

Tell me about it! I've played in the same fantasy football group for over 25 years, so Redzone suits me perfectly.

I only follow two teams, and I can get all of their games, so I usually have a TV playing Redzone, and another that is covering my two teams.

I have an IPTV subscription. So I get it as part of a very cheap monthly rate.

I believe that you can get Redzone on Hulu.

They give you a 30 day free trial, and afterwards, it's 14.99 a month.

Since football season is only from September until January, and the majority of the playoff games are on major networks, it's a much better deal that Sunday Ticket at over $400.

Yea, $14.99 is not bad, Amazon is raising their Prime monthly rate to $35, I guess to pay for the money they are paying for the Thursday games, if I get both then there is another $50 a month for football season. I like watching the Thursday games on Prime because it has far superior picture quality than Fox or CBS, I think I get them in 4K.

Sometimes, most times, I do watch the beginning of the game and only ffx4 if it's boring. But I always ff commercials, time outs and I do the 30 second ff in between plays to speed it up. It's like how they sped up pitchers in baseball.

The purpose of going to college is to make a lot of money. The main reason. The other reasons is the parties. And those guys got their masters in that.

They don't hate America. They hate racist America. Big difference. They hate you not me bro.

i don’t know. I have full blown COX cable. I even added MLB channel (almost all games). But rarely watch, seems so boring? New rules make it more boring!p? I dont know? I think RedZone was included in a Sports package? Also has NFL channel, rarely watch. But they replay many games condensed.

RedZone flops from exciting parts of any games. Sometimes they show splitscreen 4-6 games “4 in the box”. When the later games come on there may only be 3-4 going on so you see most of all w/o commercials.

i spent most of the 2000s trying to avoid commercials. RedZone is like a dream world to me. Zone out.

This is just the latest excuse for failure by the worst GM in the NFL

I think I'll get RedZone this year, was already resigned to get Amazon for their 17 games. I think I was wrong on Prime rates increasing, I think they are only offering free shipping for orders over $35, instead of $25.

I don't watch sports news like I used to! So Dak is kicking up a fuss? Very nervy after his results over the years! He's way overpaid; totally stealing $$ from Jones & The BOYS and he's giving DIVA attitude? Shame! Not surprising as this is Dallas! They're cursed while watching inferior teams like The Saints win it all while they can barely make the playoffs w/ all that talent! What makes it worse is Dak's doing commercials and going about his business as if he's actually doing the job! :heehee: :dunno::eek::stir:
