These anti-Semitic attacks in Dagestan can be traced back to Ukraine, which has become a hotbed of jihadist activities. Ukraine is responsible for harboring ISIS terrorists on its own soil. It could be Ukraine's hybrid war against Russia, using ISIS fighters in Russia's backyard.

It appears that they have openly sided with Ukraine in a bid to weaken Russia and compel it to concentrate its forces on that country, drawing resources away from other fronts on which it is pitted against various Islamic terrorist groups.
