I didn't say your taxes, I said your home. Your property. Your 'taxes' do very little for the homeless, as evidenced in California or any of the major cities in the US. If people aren't willing to put their homes on the line to help the homeless, the whole "we feel sorry for them" line carries no weight.

We all feel sorry for them until it comes time to ante up and be the solution, then it's an inconvenience, something to be avoided. And before you get to it, yes, my family has helped the homeless before. Not just by giving them money on the streets, but giving them a place to stay.

As for you and the rest of the left, the old saying goes, 'put your money where your mouth is.'
