'Culture of Death' Now Targets School Girls

We have a lot of abortions in the US because of our out dated approach to sex education. Some people would rather feel good about our sex education policies than have them produce results. I would prefer better results.

The only question is what you care about more. The facts don't lie.
We have abortions because they're easy to get and because we teach children from the cradle on that they're expected to engage in sex for the fun of it.

Abortions are even easier to get in other cultures that have even more liberal views of sexuality than the US. The issue is not the availability of abortions or liberal views on sex, but ignorance about sex and pregnancy protection. Also the feeling that people need to hide their sexual activity from people in fear of social punishment is also a factor.

So congrats on being part of a culture that leads many women to the abortion clinic. As someone who find abortion morally reprehensible I blame you.

Nonsense. Progressive brain washing is what leads women to the victimization that ultimately leads them to the abortion clinics, where their victimization continues. There is no sixth grader who attends public school in the United States who doesn't know that having sex is supposed to be fun, and lots and lots of kids do it and if they do, that's okay. They teach that to them in class.

The facts are not on your side. Abortion is something that happens in groups of people when there is ignorance and an inability to deal with sexuality openly and honestly. Some people don't want the world to be this way and hope that keeping people ignorant will somehow produce better results than educating them. In the end they will be wrong and then they will blame everyone but their own broken ideology.

The facts are on my side. A huge percentage of abortions, and almost, if not all, of late term abortions are coerced.

Girls are encouraged to engage in foolhardy behavior, then they are told they and their children are worthless, and escorted to abortion clinics, where they are further abused and sometimes killed along with their children.

You then go on a delusional rant.

The US would have significantly less abortions if we just educated our population about sex and did more to ensure the economic and social well being of mothers. This is the only strategy that has been shown to work and simply ignoring reality that you don't like will only lead to more abortions. As much as the right tries to blame abortions on the left the majority of abortions are actually due to their out dated views on sexuality, education, and economics.

You're making a false argument. #1, legalized abortions do not reduce the number of abortions. #2, our children are WELL versed in sex education. You people made these arguments back in the 70s when you were pushing legislation through based on Kinsey's fraudulent *science*.....the science that led to the creation and administration of the sex education programs in our schools, the creation of Planned Parenthood and government funding of the same, the de-criminalization of sex crimes, and the mainstreaming of sexual deviants as "normal" and the establishment of abortion as a *right*.

The facts show that with "Sex Ed" and the legalization of abortion, both single parenthood AND abortion rates exploded. For decades. They didn't start to slow down until the 90s, I believe.

We have a *problem* with poverty, teen pregnancy, single parent households, and abortion because you lunatics are teaching depravity to our children under the guise of "public education".

IUD's kill babies. (I'm weeping.)
You want the schools to facilitate putting your 12 year old daughter in the stirrups without your knowledge, to "prepare" her for a long and active sex life?

I don't.

The US lags behind in sex education significantly. Areas within the US that have the highest abortion rates lag behind the most.

Abortion rates are directly tied to education and help given to mothers, two things you are probably against which just demonstrates how immune you are to cognitive dissonance.

I'm sure this group doesn't know how babies are made:

"On average, women give at least 3 reasons for choosing abortion: 3/4 say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; about 3/4 say they cannot afford a child; and 1/2 say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner (AGI)."

Wow none of those groups say they didn't understand what caused pregnancy. Go figure.

KG if your 12 year old is having an active sexual life w/o your knowledge, you'd better be praying she's got an IUD
Er..no, I will not. If the school is involved in my child having sex or getting an IUD, I guarantee somebody is going to wish they had told me. And I hope they're good at hiding.

3/4 say the cannot afford a child...

It is almost as if economics matters like I said it did.

Of course libs want to stick IUD's in children. They are dangerous and can puncture your uterus.

Apparently they want them sterile.

And using an ultrasound for anything but facilitating the harvest of high quality organs is rape!
