The court should rule ALL Republicans are ineligible because they don't believe in the Constitution.

The Constitution says it is Obama's duty and right to nominate a replacement Justice but the Republicans don't want to allow him to even nominate --- they can easily vote him down but then they would be showing their ass in an election year.

They don't realize how hypocritical they look to human beings.

If the situation were reversed and a Dem Congress and Republican President HE WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOMINATE AN ULTRA - CONSERVATIVE.

And they would DEMAND the Dems bring the nom up for a vote.

No, a precedent can't be set where an American serviceman can sire a child with a Russian woman and she raises it in Russia for it to become US President later on.

What will be argued to Cruz's demise in this case is not the manipulation of the "letter of the law" to Cruz's benefit here. What will be argued is the INTENT behind the law, which is to minimize loyalties to foreign nations to ZERO in any person occupying the most powerful seat in the country: the Oval Office.

Cruz will lose, sadly. I understand the lawyer bringing this suit is doing it so that Cruz doesn't get the nomination and have to concede to the dems later because this highly volatile technical disqualification doesn't hand the dems a victory later on.

The lawyer in other words is suing Cruz for the good of the GOP.
