Right, scary, I immediately thought of "Minority Report", even before clicking on the link.

The prejudging factor is real, once this is accepted as a 'deterrent' to a future 'crime' and those with delusions of having great powers will soon misuse this technology to their own benefit and agendas, for the sake of our own good such as, health, safety and homeland security of course.

Of course then the brain scans for newborns, for classification purposes only, so that they may properly channeled into a vocation that suits their projected mental states, aptitude and so on, so they may better fit into the agendas of the state.

This thread may soon be shifted to the conspiracy section.

The question is which one of our two esteemed political parties will seek to begin taking away rights of individuals who are identified as potential criminals?

Here's some information from the horse's mouth:

predictive-analytics.nl

SPSS’ predictive analytics solutions enable agencies to uncover patterns in massive amounts of data and anticipate what types of intervention may be needed. This enables them to base decisions on data-driven models that precisely describe both current and developing conditions. As a result, policing agencies can:

* Deploy personnel more effectively—reducing costs while improving results, and increasing officers’ safety and job satisfaction
* Predict which events are most likely to escalate into serious or violent crimes, and guard against this
* Solve criminal cases more efficiently
* Explore security threats and study the people and organizations involved
* Deliver information to the field, where and when it’s needed
