Credit Card APR....35.99%

LOLLOLL...... prove it Robert.
You have a CC company that pays YOU? LOLLLOLLL

BTW, I charge 3-5K per month on my Alaska CC, and I pay it off BEFORE any interest is charged.

But sure dementia man, you, and only you, have a CC that actually pays you to use their card.
How does this make any sense in the Capitalist World of Banking.
Please explain, and share your success.

His card company is giving him rewards. He's playing their game to his advantage

That's criminal. You could probably negotiate better terms with a mobster.
Easy credit has been doing this garbage for decades. Check out what a typical "payday loan" will cost. Sometimes upwards from 400% APR. All credit cards have ridiculous rates. The trick is to get one with no annual fee or interest charges if paid in full each month. Then the APR is moot and the credit is free.

I bank with Chase and have for at least 50 years. I have very good credit.

I pay my card in full each month and pay no interest no matter what the rate is. Making payments on a credit card is just economically foolish. Of course the card companies hope you pay late and then they can sock you.

Our go to card is Amex, we've never had an issue with them. I love the pay it now as soon as a charge posts

For ONCE we might have a chance at a "REAL" conversation.
The point was....this was a random letter hoping to sucker in some fool.
That's not me nor you,
I was just sharing how the needy might be suckered into this, at a huge cost.

I pay off my Visa every month.
I charge 3-5 K each month....air miles and perks are worth the $75 annual fee.
NEVER in 45 years have had a late fee or an interest charge.

I bank with Bank of America, House Loan through Chase.
I have the highest rating possible.
I'm sure you do too.
Why not keep showing us offers you refuse?
OMG, the entire point of this is HOW the CC industry can **** people with bad credit.

It's NOT me, apparently not you either.
But, it the premise WRONG.
Of course it is.

That's the way to do it but many don't and end up in a never ending cycle of just paying interest
I got a loan to get rid of my Discover Card which I was paying 30% on. That debt will be paid off in another 5 months. I still have a high interest Chase Card but that has a credit limit of $1,000. That's manageable and I pay it off every month

Ok, I'm just asking and NOT blaming any POTUS, Political Party, or Policy.

This has been going on for years......but how is it allowed?
Here is the random letter I received in the mail for a CC offer.

Am I missing something here......?
Probably, but tell me why this is even allowed.

Why shouldn't it be allowed? Do you want to make it illegal to be an idiot?

Noted.

You advise the banks to charge as much interest as possible.

Are you also supporting trump telling Powell to cut interest rates?

Of course. I'd advise any business similarly. Why shouldn't they do that?

I don't support government dictating interests rates.

Trump is doing that ^^^^^........ Are you saying you don't support trump pressuring Powell?

Good for you if you don't.

Caveat Emptor. The government can't protect the public from their own stupidity.
Sure,
But what does a CC company have to do with checking the quality of a purchase,
and charging 35.99% interest on bills?

Care to answer that?

Credit is a product. You are paying annual fees and interest for that product. Why do people pay 400% interest for payday loans? Stupidity. You can't fix stupid.
