Creationism is fine ‘as long as you don’t confuse it with actual science’

Evolution, by its very nature, is not falsifiable. Everyone knows this. Popper knew it.

For some reason, the scientific establishment has decided it is falsifiable, though know one knows why. It certainly does not meet the classic parameters of falsifiability.

Evolution is not testable. Never has been never will be, unless one travels back in time.

Except it is falsifiable and testable.

Whales have ears that work great underwater. The animals we think they descended from 10 million years ago had ears that work great on land.

We can't experiment, but we can observe and that is falsifiable. So we predict that there will be an animal with ears that are somewhere in between a whales and the predecessor animal somewhere between now and 10 million years ago. If it is found at the right time and with the right structure in place, the observation meets the falsifiability criteria. If no such animal is ever found and some other things come to light that invalidate the hoped for observation, the hypothesis is falsified.

It's not observable, either.

Except we have seen it happen in the lab.
