What defines the virus being under control? We can’t say this thread is doing scientific discourse: there are at least two separate populations of COVID-19. The one in nature and the one occurring in Homo sapiens. C-19’s biology in farmed minks can’t be scientifically or credibly included in the discourse about either population. The same goes for these time-windows purported on this thread: ‘6-12 hours’, but that’s a replication time-window in a non-natural host and is biased for only one of the COVID-19 populations. Variants (specific groups of mutations) are also occurring in both C-19 populations, not just one of them.

Of course you can deliberately infect millions with the same virus strain at about the same time, if you want.
Its called variolation.
And ancient tried and true method to achieve herd immunity as quickly as possible.
The advantage is that you can then pick only healthy volunteers who are likely to survive, thus protecting the elderly and weak who would be much more likely to die.
I really don't think you understand what variolation is.
It was only used, briefly, for smallpox.
It is giving actual smallpox from a human (a mild case is chosen) to others (Martha Washington held a smallpox party, like people used to host chickenpox parties in the '50s, but that was just to spread it by air and that is not variolation).
They puncture a smallpox lesion on the active case and inoculate it by scratching the skin open on the HAND or lower arm, so it doesn't take hold as bad centrally. Mortality is about 2%. Since smallpox mortality is naturally at best around 30% and can be much worse, variolation was viewed as better than natural spread. It was quite controversial and the vaccine a little later was MUCH less lethal than that.

It's not true that variolation can be used for millions! They needed an active (and willing) case and it could only be spread to the people right there, usually families or soldiers. It was a live transmission, obviously. Mild case and inoculated on the hand or lower arm, those were the secrets to it not being as bad as the actual natural contagion.

ONLY smallpox, Rigby: variolation does not apply to ANY other disease, and is no longer used. Well, because smallpox is extinct, for now. I do think you should look these things up before posting about them.

The term "under control in regard to an epidemic means different things to different people. The general public considers and epidemic under control when they feel confident about going about their daily lives with no fear of infection to themselves, family, and friends. Epidemiologists define an epidemic as being under control when the percent of positive tests are minimized, usually less than 4% or 5%. About half the states in the US are now testing under 5%.

Once we have an epidemic as large as covid-19, it is nearly impossible to eliminate all of the virus. The Spanish Flu, caused by the H1N1 virus is still with us. It is just one of many types of flu today.

I want to remind everyone that Germ "Theory" is just a theory because it hasn't been proven. But the big pharma medical cartel uses the theory to make trillions on un-informed and indoctrinated people.

The epidemic has been fear brought to you by the MSM on an illness that has not been proven to be a virus that 99% of the people survive.

How many times are we to hear a "Theory" is just a theory because it hasn't been proven. In science, there is no higher acceptance level than a scientific theory. Every scientific theory is open to debate. In a court of law, a jury or judge may determines when something has been proved. The gavel is banged and it is law. That does not happen in science today. The last step in the scientific method that leads to a theory is not a statement declaring proof but a statement of the theory which is always open for debate and change. The only proof in science are mathematical proofs.

There was a time when a scientific theory was proved or disproved. It was called the dark ages when secular or religious authorizes made that decision and that decision was not open to debate.

Fear is always present in an epidemic with or without the news media. It can be good if it persuades people to follow the rules to prevent the spread or it can be bad if it convinces the public that nothing can be done to stop the spread.

Back in 1918, there were we two major events in the US, WWI, and the Spanish Influenza. The scientist didn't know that it was caused by an airborne virus. In fact, they did know what caused it. They had evidence that it was spread person to person so the only advice they offered the government was quarantine. The administration was not about shut the country down in a time of war so they pressured the newspapers to suppress stories about the epidemic threatening them with sedition. In fact, the goverment turned the epidemic into a political issue, declaring that staying at home from work with the croup was unpatriotic. People who died at work in defense plants were hailed as heroes. The government circulated rumors that the flu came from Huns in Spain and also that scientists believed it was hereditary and nothing could done to stop it. There were 675,000 reported deaths in the US and estimated 30 million cases. Assuming herd immunity at 75% and if the populations size were that of the US today, the number of deaths would have been around 5 million and 225 million cases.

If you trust putting an experimental injection in you not even cleared by the FDA then that is beyond being an idiot.

The fact is Germ Theory is a theory because it can't be proven and in fact has been proven to be a fraud. The only reason the theory is so popular is because big pharma makes trillions off of it. That don't make it a good theory at all but their is good money on the fraud. People love to live a life of illusions and love to believe in lies and falsehoods. I am not one of those people as yourself.

An experimental vaccine is one that is laboratory tests. Every vaccine in use today has successful passed through lab tests and clinical trials with tens of thousands of participates.

Over 167 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through April 5, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 2,794 reports of death (0.00167%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA physicians review each case report of death as soon as notified and CDC requests medical records to further assess reports. A review of available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records revealed no evidence that vaccination contributed to a single patient's deaths. Compared to previous vaccines, the Covid-19 vaccines are on course to be safest vaccines every produced.

Where in world do you come up such nonsense.
There has probably been more proof of Germ Theory than any scientific theory. Italian Agostino Bassi was the first person to prove that a disease was caused by a microorganism when he conducted a series of experiments between 1808 and 1813, demonstrating that a "vegetable parasite" caused a disease in silkworms known as calcinaccio which was devastating the French silk industry at the time. The greatest proof of germ theory is it's application in preventing and treating the spread of diseases. Germ Theory provided the foundation for disease prevention and treatment for over 150 years. From develop of simple antiseptics, treatment of waste water, developments antibiotics, and antivirals are all based on the simple concept of Germ theory that certain diseases are caused by the invasion of the body by microorganisms.
