I think they are going to slowly back away from it as midterms approach and they need that adulation from the "we beat covid thanks to our personal efforts" and sit back and hold for applause.

I think pulling back on it will be part of their strategy for the next elections because of horribly they are doing right now. If they weren't in the gutter though I think the covid strategy would have stayed in full effect.

May 2021..................The left lifted restrictions despite there were twice the new cases as May 2020. Why? Because the election was over and "covid" is seasonal.

January 12, 2022........The number of new cases obliterated Trump's highest daily count by OVER ONE MILLION.

February 2022...........The left lifted all restrictions.
