No, the McCain campaign couldn't have a VP running who had a 16 year old daughter who already gave birth out of wedlock, so the McCain campaign made the story up of her being pregnant to make the possibility of Trigg being Bristol's nearly impossible because there would have to be almost no time between the time Trigg was born and her becoming pregnant again.

It's a conspiracy.
