U.S. Is Said to Have Sent Iran a Peace Plan

The United States has sent Iran a 15-point plan to end the war in the Middle East, according to two officials briefed on the diplomacy, reflecting the Trump administration’s eagerness to find an offramp from the conflict as it grapples with its economic fallout.

It was unclear how widely the plan, delivered by way of Pakistan, had been shared among Iranian officials and whether Iran was likely to accept it as a basis for negotiations. Nor was it clear whether Israel, which has been bombing Iran together with the United States, was on board with the proposal.

But the delivery of the plan showed that the administration was ramping up efforts to conclude a war, now in its fourth week, that has drawn in several other countries.

The New York Times did not see a copy of the plan, but the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive details, shared some of its broad outlines, saying that it addresses Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs.

Hard to tell who wants to end the war more. trump facing the consequences of his mistake or Iranians tiring of being bombed. A 15 point plan is an awful lot of points to agree on. The world eagerly awaits the outcome.

One motivation for Iran is by its actions since the war began it has positioned itself as an international pariah.

The US government has supposedly been sending "peace plans" to ALL of those countries since the 60s.

You'd think all those people would rise up and slaughter all those vile, greedy, and psychotic politicians and dictators that take over and treat the people like their personal slaves.

Mr. Trump, asked why he appeared willing to consider a cease-fire with the Iranians, told a reporter: “They’re talking to us and they’re making sense.”

Though Iran has taken a public stance denying that negotiations are taking place, according to four Iranian officials and an Iranian diplomat, Tehran and Washington have been exchanging messages through intermediaries about de-escalating the conflict.

Mr. Trump said that the vice president and the secretary state were joining negotiations that also include his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff, one of his most senior advisers.

Hey, with Prince Jared on the job I have the utmost faith he can work something out. ;) After all, he was in charge of ME peace during trump 1.0 and look how well that turned out.

This likely ends with the U.S. withdrawing and the world getting used to not using the Hormuz Strait. In a week? A month? Years and years? Who knows.

Trump's plan is to return to the JCPOA that Obama signed, but of course he'll blow smoke up MAGA's ass so you'll think differently.

Today, Don TACO speaking in the W.H. said of Iran- "we're dealing with the right people"! The "same people" who were in power two weeks ago. :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

You cannot, in a thosand years, make this shit up.

Btw, how's Miss Lindsey today after Don TACO's announcement? Has he signed himself in yet?

Show of hands, who believes that Iran is gullible enough to believe that the USA and our "Greatest Ally" won't attack again after using the ceasefire to rearm?
