Nope. The radical Islam we see today began with the deposing of the Shah of Iran, during the Carter administration. Before then, they were just pirates, plunderers, and slave traders. Thomas Jefferson had to deal with them back in 1801.

Even earlier than that.
Start about 1400 years ago when Muhammad led his Holy Warriors against Mecca and then elsewhere outside of the desert of Arabia. Such as against the Eastern/Byzantine Roman Empire in the Levant ~ Jerusalem.

There after across the Med., Africa, Southern and Eastern Europe, Asia, etc.

Muhammad claims to be commanded by Allah to convert the whole world/humanity to Islam, no matter how long it takes and what methods will be needed.

Islam is a prescription for Forever WAR.
 
Iraq, was broke after the collapse of the SOVIET UNION. One must remember saddam was an ally of Russia. Iraq recieved billions from communist Russia.

Iran vs Iraq, Iran has no holy ground to bury their dead, Iran needs Iraq's territory.

The middle east needs a 100 years of western education then there might be peace.

Someone's / some group(')(s)(') useful idiots, both of them.
Therefore we're back at square 1 : rich people getting nervous and angry with eachother, then less able to deliver to their own peoples, racial / inter-regional tensions rising rapidly or gradually, --> wars.

Stupid formerly violent corpses getting statues and worship on specific days of the year, that's one of the factors that contributes to the repeatful aspect of wars in general.

Most of the Iraqis I spoke with preferred Saddam. A lot of of them say he was a great man. He was a secular leader friend of the Christians too. His vice president was Christian.

Trump has said that Saddam was good at killing terrorists.

Interesting that Iraq was viewed as an ally by the United States establishment during the Iran Iraq war.

Another question just popped up in my mind : isn't the BRICS alliance much like an octopuss, with unfriendly tentacles trying eat all that remains on the Earth's surface? True, they didn't start it. We in Europe and the USA did. Maybe along with Canada even.

But the real question for the NEAR FUTURE, should really be 'to what level will China and Russian marxism + socialism + police-state-ism + oligargisticy in their business world (much like in ours again) + emperical family / autocrat, take that new-found desire to "instead, turn the whole world into one system, but OUR system"'???

No, the facts show that Israel planned and executed the 911 attacks. Don't you remember the story of the "Dancing Israelis".

911 was an inside job meant to lay the predicate for invading Iraq and launching the neocon Global War Of Terror. Ain't it great!!
