When Russia rolls and annexes Ukraine and they world see the US, NATO, and the West do nothing, could this kick off other regional conflicts?

(1) Surly China is going to invade and annex Taiwan! They are just waiting.

(2) Kosovo was always unjustly taken from Serbia. Russia backed them then when the west was strong, Russia will surly back them now when the west is weak.

(3) Iran with it’s allies in Hezbollah, Hamas and probably Syria, Iraq, and even Turkey could attack Israel. They have been saber rattling for decades. The only thing stopping them was a strong US.

(4) Could Turkey go on an crush Kurdistan in Iraq? They have wanted to for decades. Or take all of Cyprus? Or fight with Greece for disputed territory?

(5) African has always been a powder keg… while there probably won’t be fights between counties, there are very vulnerable minorities, such as the SA whites.

(6) Could Sudan and South Sudan go into open war?

(7) Could India and Pakistan start their fighting again?

(8) Azerbaijan and Armenia have had small skirmishes, both what a larger fight?

(9) Would Russia stop with just Ukraine; they have 13 other providences that broke away after the fall of the USSR?

(10) And last but not least, North Korea; they want the South. They have nukes. What is stopping them from attacking now? Not the US and definitely not NATO.

Could be a powder keg!

Why should our elected leaders be concerned with any of those potential theaters? They can't even stop the invasion that's coming across the southern border.

The West helped to weaken America, much of this done internally by so many to the point in which America is no longer viewed as the global dominant military it once was. So yes, expansion by others might occur, unless they view Biden/Harris to be a formidable leader of America.

Europe, lead by Macron and Merkel were last year declaring how they would start a "EU military". I always felt these two were flakes and frauds, snickered at the fools in media who fawned over them. The horrible Paris Accord. Might those resources be useful now?

The E.U are often full of talk and immune to action and understanding the reality on the ground. They are now, like so many Americans before them, willing to sell out their own national security for a few easy dollars.

This is why I've said that America has to be the leader in such military action if the world is to remain free, even as increasingly Western citizens don't have faith in their governments. E.U won't find their balls, they need America to lead, even as you have overextended yourself and some have sold you out for political and personal benefit.

We definitely should get involved with too many conflicts, but the world is a safer place when countries are not fighting each other.

I would say our military is still strong it is the weakness and incompetent leadership of Biden that is the problem.

No one respects or fears Biden and Harris is complete joke!

Someone else's region ... don't care.
So let me ask you this… say we never got involved in WW II and Hitler beat the Soviets and British, which is debatable whether he could have beat them without the US’s involvement. Then let Hitler’s scientist develop the bomb… we wouldn’t have worked on it.

Hitler’s invasion of the US would have definitely started with nuking a few cities.

Would you still say we shouldn’t get involved?

A. We got involved because we were attacked ... our bases by Japan in The Pacific and our shipping by Germany in The Atlantic.

B. Germany did have a theoretical A-bomb program for only one year in the war. It was deemed low-priority and most of the physicists were drafted into regular soldiers in The Wermacht. When Germany surrendered in 1945, it came as a huge shock to America just how little progress Germany had made towards nuclear weapons.

C. The continental US was never under threat of invasion at any time during World War II. Admiral Yamamoto, the Japanese commander most familiar with the US once said, “I would never invade America, there is a gun behind every blade of grass.” During The Cold War, Russian Admiral Sergei Gorshkov (The Soviet Union's most decorated Admiral) wrote that the logistical capacity required to mount an invasion of the US would require a Navy one hundred times larger than The Soviet Union possessed at the height of The Cold War.

D. In the last 1,000 years of European History, they have only been at peace for 30 contiguous years. Americans have been fighting in European Wars for over 100 years ... World War I, World War II, The Cold War, Yugoslav War, Kosovo ...etc. It's time the Europeans sort out their own messes and stop paying to defend them from each other while they continue to compete with us economically.

The current mishegash between Russia and it's former territory doesn't represent a existential (or even a physical) threat to America and it's none of our bloody business.

I don't have any problem with sanctions on Russia for their behavior, but military involvement needs to be right off the table.

Russia, Iran, and Turkey ally near the end times and start a war in The Middle East and eventually attack Israel

Foreign soldiers from Syria, Egypt and the Arabs fought under Titus when the temple was destroyed. It was a quick path to Roman citizenship. You must not realize that Rome's empire included foreigners. Hezbollah and Hamas didn't exist until the 1980s. India and Pakistan both have nukes. They aren't going to fight each other. Gog and Magog invaded Palestine and Syria 600 years before Christ.

You are looking at it all wrong----We should be rounding up the southern invaders and dropping them off in RUSSIA. It would take them longer to get back here to cause Trouble and in the meantime would keep PUtin occupied so he doesn't have time to invade other countries. Maybe both groups would learn to behave and not invade other nations.

Neither the republicans nor the Democrats want to stop illegal immigration.

The pandemic caused a global restlessness where people looked to have a different country save them from their own country's failed leadership instead of affecting positive change in their own country!
The lazy sloths fail to realize that there is no sanctuary able to save them!!

Ruxicans? Those Meskins get crazy enough on tequila, I don't know if they could handle vodka.

But it would make for some interesting Youtube road rage dashcam videos coming out of Russia. :laughing0301:

The term 'Global Citizen' is a pipe dream, a false construct!
Just ask all of those hundred of thousands of now ex-Ukrainian's spilling over the border into Poland!
They have a new label for you. It's called, REFUGEE! Not global citizen.
Globalism has abandoned you! You bought into a political mirage.

True story.
