I tried to shorten and edit the list to read a little better and added a few needed revisions. Hope you like:
1. Basically, you can't leave the house for any reason, but if you have to, then you can.
2. Masks are useless unless they can save you, but you need to wear one except when you canât find one, unless they are mandatory.
3. Stores are all closed, except those that are open.
4. You should not go to the hospital unless you have to go there. Same applies to doctors, you should only go there in case of emergency, provided you are not too sick.
5. This virus can be deadly except most people never get sick and most of those that do recover, but still not too scary except that sometimes it actually leads to a global disaster, unless we make our own first.
6. Gloves wonât help either, but they can still help, but if they donât help, at least they canât hurt.
7. Everyone needs to stay HOME, but itâs important to also GO OUT and get exercise, just donât expect anywhere to be open to exercise at when you get there.
8. There is no shortage of groceries in the supermarket, but there are still many things missing when you go there.
9. The virus has no effect on children except those it affects.
10. You will have many symptoms when you are sick, but you can also get sick without symptoms, have symptoms without being sick, or just be contagious without having symptoms.
11. Everyone hoarded toilet paper for a month, enough to last for six years, except now in April a month later, when you go to the store, you still canât find any.
12. You canât go to retirement homes, unless you happen to already be in a retirement home, in which case you have to take care of the elderly and bring them food and medication unless you are also the reason why theyâre dying.
13. If you are sick, you can't go out, but you can go to the pharmacy.
14. You can get restaurant food delivered to the house, which may have been prepared by people who didnât wear masks or gloves and havenât been tested.
15. Masks and gloves protect you, but you need to stay six feet apart too, except that if youâre six feet apart, there isnât really much point in wearing masks and gloves.
16. You can't see your older relatives, but you can take a taxi and meet an older taxi driver, just not family unless you already see them living with you.
17. You can walk around in your backyard, just not do any work there, unless your backyard is beachfront property in which case you can't go out in your backyard either.
18. You are safe if you maintain the appropriate social distance, but you canât go out with friends or strangers at a safe social distance.
19). Everyone should be tested, except those without symptoms, even though people with no symptoms may be sick, but unless youâre really sick, they wonât test you, just stay home, unless you need to go to the hospital!
20). If you need to call someone, the people that used to take 10 minutes to answer their phone now take somewhere between an hour to forever! It they answer the phone at all. You could die waiting to get through to someone, except you canât be tested for that either.
