Cori Bush Wins

She defeated a decades long incumbent who took his dad's place. That seat had been held by that family for decades.

She's guaranteed to win in November.

There will be one more voice of real people in our House of Reps.

I cheer her on and welcome her into our government. Hopefully she will be another real voice of the people instead of a paid voice for the filthy rich and big business.

The handwriting is on the wall. Things aren't nearly as "Cheerful" as the Party of the Rumpers paint it. The fact is, we are going to see more of this in 2020. We saw a just a hint of it in 2018.
When you take from others, it will be the neighbors again. Always the neighbors while you complain about the rich.

I don't complain about the rich. If I had been smarter, with my education and background and I had made better life decisions, I could have been rich. But I decided not to sell my soul.

I don’t know anything about her, but the fact that she was homeless in her adult life could be a tiny red flag that she’s incompetent, I don’t know, maybe I’m overthinking it. LOL

“I’ve lived unhoused with two babies”

Yeah that’s exactly who I want representing me

at rallies, Cori has a preacher's cadence when she gets riled up and gets going

She’ll fit in with “da squad”

This country has turned into shit

I agree.

We've had forty years of this irresponsible, supply side, shower the rich and business with wealth. People are sick of it. It has ruined manufacturing, ruined our environment, destroyed families, created monopolies with a government run by the rich for the rich.

People are sick of it.

More people like her and those elected in 2018 will be in our congress. I have been waiting for 40 years for America to wake up.

Hopefully it has finally happened.

Not all rich people sold their souls. But if believing that makes you feel better about yourself then carry on.

See more of what? Democrat challengers beating democrat incumbents, in districts that have been democrat districts forever? How’s this an indicator of anything?

One day, I decided everyone had a limit of dishonesty. A price, if you will. I figured out mine was 3.2 million. Any less than that and I am as honest as the Driven Snow. More than that and it's Hello Rio.

"be careful white folks, there's a new sheriff in town"

actually Cori Bush would shoot a sheriff

I am all for a grassroots candidate.

But what you describe, she likely knows nothing about. So you really think she's going to be able to contribute to effective solutions to big business (many run by left wingers) cozying up to government ? Seriously.

Most of them don't and she is less likely.

She'll get with the black caucus and she'll be all over the worthless shit they come up with.

Get a life, dumbass.

It’s amazing how stupid Democrats are. Yea, let’s vote in a homeless black woman....what could go wrong?

hmmmm....thought you guys liked non-establishment outsiders...I guess only if they are millionaires.
