Poor Cooper. I never do that with my dogs. Mokie and Karma get turns. They know what Little Bit means. They also know when I make two piles and point out KARMA'S and MOKI's. Then I hold out the plate and although Moki is just like Cooper, he does NOT go for Karma's, nor she his.
