Not since the release of the Access Hollywood tape, in which Donald Trump bragged about groping women by the genitals, have some conservatives thought so seriously, if a bit wistfully, about two words: President Pence.

The scandals clouding Trump’s presidency — including, most recently, his firing of FBI Director James Comey, his alleged leak of classified information to Russian officials, and reports that he urged Comey to drop an investigation into a top aide — have raised once more the possibility that Trump could be pushed aside and replaced by Vice President Mike Pence.

“If what the [New York Times] reported is true, Pence is probably rehearsing,” one House Republican who asked not to be named quipped Wednesday. “It’s just like Nixon. From the standpoint that it’s never the underlying issue, it is always the cover-up.”

The still far-fetched proposition of removing Trump from office has increasing appeal to Republicans who are growing weary of defending Trump and are alarmed by his conduct in office. But such whispers are cringe-worthy for Pence and his aides, who have made an art of not upstaging the mercurial president. Pence’s press secretary declined to comment for this article.

Because the money needs to flow in the right direction. That would be a stupid move. Pence would give the Democrats something to cry about.

More made up garbage. You should check the definition of a scandal. Firing someone isn't it. More like made up outrage, fueled by the butthurt.

This is not a huge secret. There have been plenty of Republicans who are not pleased with Trump. At all. It's your party, you can cry if you want to.

Sure, I'll help you. If you think that the GOP operates as some unified group then you are sadly mistaken.

I really don't think Trump supporters understand his situation.

Major media has its foot on this throat, it smells blood, and that won't change.

They need to decide, quickly, if they're willing to cut their losses or drag down the whole party with this.
.

I think most of them do because that is why they voted for him. They weren't going to let the same clowns repeat. I think that is fair. They were pissed off. Rightly so.

The Democratic Party also would like to see this. The problem is that these clowns have no clue that he is a cold and calculating mofo and he will give them something to cry about.

Ok. Since you are incapable of acting like an adult and you are incapable of carrying on a conversation, then I am going to ignore your shit.

It's plausible and this is why: Remember when you had the GOP supporting Hillary after the IMF had a melt down? That is still there.

Let me get this straight. You are worried that the Republicans might suffer? Fiction writers have to be able to get the reader to suspend disbelief. But the level of willingness to suspend disbelief in this case would be unimaginable.
