Lol! A guy at $50K after STD deduction , income tax is ~11% but upper brackets ~25% gone overall in federal? It varies up the tax rate table. Then add state tax.

My $500K example was not correct due to the graduated rates over income.

A 10million award would lose over 50% right off in taxes. A $1million would have half taxed at over 50% in CA including state tax?

Forget it!!! Can't copy tax table on this dammmet phone!
