Reportedly, the birth rate for Conservative women in 2025 is 2.18, above the replacement rate of approximately 2.1.
The birth rate for Liberal women (birthing people?) was only 1.42, well below the replacement value of about 2.1.

This has significant implications, obviously. Eventually, a group with such a low birth rate dies out if the children have the same characteristics as the parents.
One has to wonder if the combination of Liberal policies contributes to such a low rate. Liberals have more abortions, are more likely to be gay, less likely to be in traditional family relationships, and more likely to believe that humans are causing irreparable harm to the planet.
Liberals would probably tell you that the low birth rate comes with more education and affluence, pointing to lower birth rates in the Western world than the third world...
I'm a bit skeptical of that, as smart, happy, rich people tend to be better equipped for supporting large families.
And this map by state muddies the water a bit (most states follow the trend, but there are outliers like Hawaii and West Virginia)...
Same map with 2024 election result map:
I wonder if this is an interesting example of Darwin's survival of the fittest, but applied to mental state as opposed to purely physical traits. In this case, harmful or less desirable ideologies are less likely to reproduce and get passed on.
