  • Congressmen Khanna and Massie released the names of six men involved in the Epstein scandal
  • 70 - 80% of the Epstein files are still redacted
  • The files they reviewed were scrubbed by the FBI back in March, so these names were known and never released by this administration
  • Lutnick comes up again

And once again we see the fundamental problem with releasing "names" of people mentioned in the Epstein files. There are literally millions of files with millions of names referenced in a myriad of contexts. All the Trump Haters clamoring for the release of all the files said NOTHING during Biden's four years. This has nothing to do with victims and everything to do with politics. Big shocker I know.

I respect both of these men. They both seem like geniune men and they put party differences aside to stand up for American values.

You can disagree with their approach but you cannot disagree with where their heart is.

What about them?

That's a really important question to answer.

Watch the wording. they forced the DOJ (somehow) to release some names.

They didn't just release them themselves.

That might imply them breaking some rules regarding redaction.

Your comment made me curious of what my own comments and thoughts were, when I first read of Epstein here on USMB. (Back in 2020 I guess)

LOL. Skimming through this thread, some things never change.

The release of names is not an accusation but is an identification that you travelled to Epstein destinations
There is No Need to black out those names.

Bullshit. If they really gave a hit about the "victims" they would have started this in 2019. Now, it 100% political

Wexner is the key to most of this. He got on the Epstein train early.
Sad to say, I've been to his home for a lecture. But thank God have never had anything to do with the guy. He bankrolled Epstein from Day One. What did he get in return?

Accountability for what? We haven't seen any evidence that anyone, other than Epstein, was diddling underage girls.
I get your point brother, I am divided though. My initial instinct was that nothing was ever going to come out and if it did it would be to try and impact Trump in some manner.

At this juncture I am trying to maintain a sober view of the process. I just do not see how it benefits any one party though. Trump has already been applauded for apparently reaching out to the police about Epstein a long time ago.

If Trumps team plays it right they can counter this but their problem has been that they are never able to be sensitive and gentle, it is a constant barrage of pitbull denials and deflection. This is not a good strategy when it comes to the abuse of the young.

Yep. Op plays right in to it too. If there is any inkling whatsoever that some tidbit of info can be slanted so as to malign Trump, he and dems jump on it.

Didn’t they just pass a law allowing redaction for on going investigations?

So did they just tip off 6 people they are being investigated ?

How pathetic
