The rest of the world didn't have our bad results. In fact, the rest of the world did a reasonably good job containing it. Again, I go back to the example of Japan. They went all in on the things Trump fought tooth and nail- Lockdowns, masking, vaccinations.
No, Trump never "Caused" the virus, but his denialism, and inability to work with governors and agencies made it much worse. WHich is why at one point, while the US only accounted for 4% of the global population, we had 25% of the covid cases and deaths.
Debunked by who? Where's the evidence?
Actually, the wet market theory makes MORE sense.
If it was a leak from the lab, then the outbreak should have been in the neighborhood immediately around the lab. Unlike American culture, where we all have cars and commute to our workplace, most Chinese either walk or use public transportation. Which means most of the workers didn't live near the wet market, they lived near the lab... But, no outbreak at the lab.

Keep in mind that Wuhan is not a unified city like Paris, with a small river running down the middle. The Yangtze is a giant river, roughly a mile across, and Wuhan feels like two separate cities. (I was in Wuhan in mid-2019.) In fact, it was originally multiple cities, Wuchang on one side and Hanyang on the other. The name “Wuhan” was constructed out of those two names, and one other city. As you can see from the map, the famous Wuhan Institute of Virology is about 12 kilometers from the animal market and on the other side of the huge river.
When were the CIA and the Roswell Aliens involved? This is complete conspiracy theory bunk with no evidence. I know you guys WANT it be true because in some way, it excuses Trump's criminal incompetence in dealing with it.
