Congressional panel investigating the origins of Covid finds that the virus originated in a lab .

You're back to the big words like 'probably' again.

You do know that patient zero was traced to one of the Wuhan Lab scientists don't you?

Actually, no, I don't know that, because it's not true. You guys have been circulating the name "Huang Yanling" around the usual nutter circles, but that's like saying her name was "Jane Smith".

Do you think I am the fucking DA?

You demand PROOF for everything, right?

I wsn't talking to you.

But, um, yeah, before we start a trade war or worse, you should probably have some proof the Chinese did something wrong.

He had all the proof needed, yet concluded it wasn't worth pursuing because the jury would most likely sympathize with him and find he was a nice elderly man who wasn't playing with a full deck.

Except - again - you can't prosecute a sitting president. The ONLY option he had was to refer potential impeachable offenses to the house.

He also didn't indict anyone who assisted in transporting or hiding those documents. They certainly wouldn't have been considered "nice and elderly".

It would be nice if the Chinese hadn't disappeared YanLing then maybe we could know. There's a clue for the Clueless.

Except... no evidence of that, either.
You don't say.................

“Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,” the report states, including “documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan” and “handwritten entries about issues of national security and foreign policy implicating sensitive intelligence sources and methods” that he kept in an unlocked drawer.

Biden is solely and completely responsible for the handling of classified documents by his staff or Bob Dylan's Grandmother, for that matter.

Opinion....................DOJ has an unwritten policy where a sitting president can not be prosecuted.

Yes, according to long-standing Department of Justice (DOJ) policy, a sitting president generally cannot be prosecuted while in office, considered an unwritten policy based on the interpretation of the Constitution and the potential disruption to the executive branch that a criminal prosecution could cause; however, this issue has never been definitively ruled on by the Supreme Court.

Scared of a trade war are you? After the fact that China may be involved in something very sinister, you worry about your cheap goods made with communist slave labor ?

OK buckwheat, now you use fear in order to cover for your wife's home country eh ? A little bias going on wid ya ?

Okay, so where was the referral for impeachment? Oh, that's right, he didn't make one, because he didn't have the evidence.

But still a policy. Written or not, Hur knew he couldn't get a grand jury to indict Biden and he didn't have a stong case for impeachment, so let's just slander the old guy on the way out.

Because Hur is a piece of shit.

Sure I am. If you had a lick of sense, you'd be worried, too.

China will do far better in a trade war than we would.

Here's why.

Okay, so where was the referral for impeachment?
That wasn't his job as special prosecutor. The appropriate question would be why didn't the democrats take Hur's findings and immediately open an impeachment inquiry.

You are a special type of dumbfuck, that's for sure.

Because Hur is a piece of shit.

Bob Hur's investigation resulted in the first official public acknowledgement of Biden's decreased mental capacity relating to having the ability to successfully testify in a court of law. Yet no one questioned why that didn't affect his ability to function as a sitting president The left went ball's to the wall attacking Hur because they knew he was right.
Then later, the media admitted it was complicit in hiding Biden's mental issues from the public......

They had been covering for him.....And lying to the public.

And the left still believe the media lies.

It was obvious to most outside observers who heard Joe Biden speak or watched him wander away aimlessly during public events, that he was not mentally fit to serve as president. The only outside observers who did not accept that unmistakable reality were, of course, the news media.

The media had little interest in reporting on Biden's rapidly encroaching senility, since doing so would hurt its political party. But the media had another reason for refusing to accept or publicly acknowledge reality: Biden's team worked hard to hide it from everyone, including the media. And even the far-left Washington Post now admits that its staff was misled into thinking that the 81-year-old hadn't mentally declined.

Even though it was on video.
The Post's Editorial Board recently published one of its many fawning hagiographies of Biden's disastrous presidency, praising him for his decision to allow Nancy Pelosi to push him out. But buried in it is an admission that his embarrassing, senile performance in the debate against former President Donald Trump in June was not just a "bad night." Instead, it was a sign of his mental decline. A decline that his "inner circle" hid.

"In retrospect, Mr. Biden should not have sought reelection," the Post's article reads. "The June 27 debate was worse than just a bad night, as the president maintained afterward. The 81-year-old had shown signs of slipping for a long time, but his inner circle worked to conceal his decline. He and the country would have been better off if Mr. Biden had kept his implied promise from the 2020 campaign to be a ‘transitional’ figure, perhaps by bowing out after the Democrats’ surprisingly good showing in the 2022 midterm elections."

Well, first, the GOP was in charge of Congress at that point, and they didn't open one, either.

Secondly, he didn't make a referral for impeachment like Ken Starr did. (the only IC that has actually done so, which is another reason why we should never have IC's ever again.)

Bob Hur's investigation resulted in the first official public acknowledgement of Biden's decreased mental capacity relating to having the ability to successfully testify in a court of law.

Except he's not a doctor or a psychiatrist, so that's not his call.

Also, the transcripts of his interview proved his claims were a lie. He even complimented the President on his excellent memory.

No chance stonewalling putting the report out had anything to do with it?

Ken Starr didn't make a recommendation for impeachment, House Judiciary took the report and filed articles of impeachment.

You've earned a new title, old buddy:

Why is it China's fault that our response was in competent.

China actually- did it right. They completely locked down the country after Covid was discovered, they invested billions building field hospitals (You know, instead of just sending a leaky old ship that couldn't take Covid Patients)

Or as Bill Maher said..

yep .. bought and paid for ..

“Our investigation uncovered evidence

Then he should have presented that evidence to Congress to get an impeachment. He didn't do that.

Ken Starr didn't make a recommendation for impeachment, House Judiciary took the report and filed articles of impeachment.

Ken Starr specifically listed seven areas where CLinton had supposedly broken the law by (gasp) lying about a blow job.

70 million dollars spent, that's all he could prove.

His job was to give the evidence of his investigation to the AG and not congress.

Ken Starr specifically listed seven areas where CLinton had supposedly broken the law by (gasp) lying about a blow job.
Ken Starr didn't make a recommendation for impeachment....................duh.
