Whatever these phenomena are, they're almost certainly not spacecraft piloted by extra terrestrial humanoids. I'll be the first to concede that our understanding of science and the cosmos is far from definitive, but even within the range of possibile explanations that we are currently able to postulate, "extra terrestrial humanoids" is one of the least likely answers for a variety of reasons.
Is it an intelligent life form of some type? Perhaps. But it's unsurprising that people immediately associate "intelligent life" with some type of physical creature like we'd see on Star Trek, as our ability to conceptualize sentient life is limited by our collective human experience...and that tells us that all life is carbon based and in physical form. We also assume that all life must exist in our physical universe according to the laws of physics as we understand them. But it's possible that neither of those assumptions are correct. Recent observations in quantum mechanics research certainly challenges many if not all of our notions regarding the latter, and the very nature of reality itself. And there may be forms of sentient life in existence that are so different from anything we're familiar with that even our most educated scientists and our most imaginitive thinkers literally lack the capacity to fathom their existence.
