Comrade De Blasio Takes Over (2nd Detroit)

The people of NYC have spoken but what did they say?

The people have elected the same kind of government that infected Chicago and Detroit. The city will suffer the same consequences.

It's a shame because NYC was my old hometown.

Gee, how cute, another echo chamber circle jerk. The People of NYC have spoken, and created a great fear in the empty space of the EC collective heads.

Too bad, you clowns got what you sowed. Americans have always moved away from extremism and extreme failure. Instead of putting all your misplaced energy into a circle jerk you jerks need to ask why? Because this isn't a plea for far left policy, it's a repudiation of far right callous conservatives, their bigotry and greed.

Less than half of eligible voters voted. So, only a tiny portion of the NYC residency spoke in this regard.

:cuckoo:

And the entire country is embracing socialist moronic failure and calling it success regardless. Thats what is going on here.

Communist Party Founded 1 January 1912 - Dissolved 29 August 1991...It won't take 79 yrs for the American people to figure it don't work, it was just a progressive utopian dream. The other factor, we still have our guns...

http://www.nytimes.com/news/electio...k-turnout-appears-headed-for-record-low/?_r=0

Turnout in Tuesday’s election for New York City mayor appeared to have set a record low of 24 percent of registered voters.

With absentee, emergency and affidavit ballots still to be tallied, the percentage and the number of votes – barely over one million of the 4.3 million registered voters in New York City – was the lowest since at least the mid-20th century.

The previous low was 28 percent four years ago.

This is why you shouldn't listen to LOLberal idiots like Wry. They are, above all else, fucking clueless of the facts.

Completely clueless.

It will be interesting. He intends to stop the construction of those luxury condos. That will do wonderful things to the City's property tax income.

What does he suppose is the benefit of doing that? Does he imagine that millionaires are going to live in the same shacks as them lower middle class?

Watched some footage of his swearing in ... Clinton, black wife and kids ...

LOVE watching the rw heads exploding.

Carry on.

Our heads weren't exploding. We thought the swearing in ceremony was a comedy.

It was like watching Jerry Lewis sitting down at the controls of a 747.

Dullards like Nuddley voted for De Blahsio simply because of his bi-racial family. As if that is some sort of disntinction noteworthy of being mayor. LOLberals are morons. It becomes glaringly obvious the more they speak and act.

Voting for a communist is moving away from extremism? What did we "sow" that we deserve? The people of New York are the ones who are going to get what they deserve, at least the ones who voted for De Blasio will.

my prediction on him is that he will be the non-story of 2014. It just wont be a big deal whatever he does. Fact of the matter is that whatever you think of the job of being mayor of NYC it really doesnt mean much nationally -- much the same as being mayor of any city doesnt. Look at Bloomberg - sure some of his wacky stupid ideas got national press but he really has never been much of a player nationally despite his best efforts. He had no real political base (because mayor never do) - and whatever attention he got was the result of his willingness to buy it.

If despite all his efforts and money he got nowhere this guy wont have any great impact either. He runs a very liberla city -- it really doesnt mean anything just as being mayor of salt lake city or anchorage doesnt either.

Mayors just arent terribly significant.

He thinks that NYC has been turned into a giant plantation where the rich are exploiting the poor and keeping them in the bondage of wage slavery.

I still find it hilarious that nobody wants to claim Bloomberg as being part of their team. :lmao:

The scary thing is regardless of all the proven failed liberal, socialist policies (from Detroit, to California, to Obama, etc etc etc) the public still vote and cheer for the left wing democrats.

Not to mention that vast voting fraud that gets individuals like Al Franken into office, and how Harry Reid (trailing in all polls leading up to his re-election) won.

The country is already dead.

The left wing educational system, entertainment industry overwhelmingly left wing, the MSM under reporting democratic scams (even covering them up), over reporting anything that is perceived as right wing scams (reference the Duck dynasty thing), are all examples of why the the country as we once knew it is dead.

More importantly it is the reason that as power is pulled away and taken from we the people that the left wing morons (the people) cheer and laugh.

They equate the Tea Party to racists and the KKK (perpetuated by those same traitorous elements I mentioned) and yet it is that establishment that is fighting for the very power that the morons on the left are losing.

How many issues and how many facts do we need to present? Each fact as presented is then attacked as something it is is not. The facts are called Faux News narratives. In the mean time, they are still facts.

Tell us again how you can keep your doctor. Not that they care about that. Gitmo is still open. Not that they ever cared about that. They work each other into frenzies and they could not care less about any of the issues. They need approval from each other, and they will flock to what ever bullshit rally. From OWS to gay rallies, to global warming scams, etc etc etc. All bullshit, and is their little way to stick what they think is a thumb in the eye of what hey perceive as whitey righty Christian conservative.

Yes, that is pretty much it, and the truly pathetic thing about all of this, is they always think they are the smartest ones in the room, regardless of what facts disprove their stupid claims.

RIP America. It was a good run if you ask me.

Watching NYC fall will be like watching the trajectory of a meteor on the path of wiping out a city. I give Bill Bratton six months before he walks.

He was an asshole, but he was a fiscally sound asshole.

DeBlasio is a free spending asshole.

Bloomberg was a complete Nanny Statist. He may have kept fiscal matters SOMEWHAAT in control, but the entire rest of his policy card belonged in the old soviet states.

i think thats in large part because Bloomberg never really seemed to care about being on anyone's team. Im not a big fan of political parties but here is a guy who certainly had no loyalty to anyone but himself. When it suited his needs to be a Democrat, he was a Democrat. When it suited his needs to be a Republican he was a Republican. When that got old for him he was an independent so Im not surprised that no one is terribly anxious to have him as part of their team

DeBlasio is probably a nanny statist as well, but he is a free spending one, and also more than likely anti-buisiness, and anti-NYPD.

A small portion of the people of NYC have spoken, and considering the Republicans/Independents didnt run a viable candidate against him, the results were a forseeable event.

DeBlasio is an extremist, just one you agree with.

We'll see if I agree with him, all I know about him is he has a black wife which put your fellow echo chamber pal Katzndogz into a racist tizzy. How far 'left' he governs will be interesting to watch. BTW, define far left - it's a term used by many on the right and never defined.

What I find most interesting is the reaction of you and the other anti- liberals. What scares your kind so much? Fear that not following your dear leader Limbaugh's path might prove an effective method of governance for all?
