" A Chinese swimmer has failed a drugs test at the Rio Olympics, according to China's state-run news agency Xinhua, citing the China Swimming Association (CSA).

Chen Xinyi tested positive on August 7 for hydrochlorothiazide, a banned substance which acts as a diuretic.
Chen's case is being considered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the China Swimming Associated said it would respect its final decision, Xinhua said"

I wonder why they care about hydrochlorothiazide. It just helps eliminate excess fluid. Do swimmers care about a fraction of a pound of weight like jockeys do?

The Olympics in RIO are spectacular and any tiny distraction like this will be forgotten or not even noted by the end of the day. If the entire Chinese team is caught cheating then you have something. One person is nothing.

The US women's gymnastic's team event and the individual events were beyond great. Phelps dominating again, great. I am enjoying the hell out of the Olympics.
